That's right. Golf clubs can really start fires. At least in California. I just saw that on yahoo news and thought it was highly amusing. Not amusing that there was a 25 acre fire but that a golf club could be so deadly!
Today was relatively boring. I went to the gym and then went and rode both my horses in the 100 degree heat. Not fun at all, but I did it anyways. I need Ali to come home so that she can ride Beau. He's nice an all but I like my low-key horse.
I did some cleaning and packing up of stuff but my giant ass box was apparently not giant enough. That's peachy. I wanted to pack up my beanie babies but apparently all I can stick in the box are my sister's. Oh well. That means I have to get some more tomorrow.
I am trying to catch up on True Blood and the season is getting insane! I have no idea what's going to happen but I can't wait to watch more tomorrow. Now I have no idea what to do. It's so weird having nothing to do. Oh well. Maybe I'll try and find some Jersey Shore or something.

I Danced With The Devil and Survived!
Today was a strange day. I woke up and realized that while today was the first day of classes for Eastern, I was not taking part of them. I was home. It was really kind of upsetting to me. I'll be taking classes soon enough that it will help with that, but it was still very strange. I suddenly became the only child. I've never been in that situation before. Ali has for three years, but I have never experienced it until now. It's really very weird.
I ended up going to IKEA with my mom and we actually got my bookcase! I was so excited! I have been trying to get this bookcase forever and it finally was in stock. It's currently sitting in my mom's car and I will have to drag it upstairs whenever my dad comes back from being called into the ER. I then will have to make space and put it together. That should be fun and I am determined to do it by myself. This should be even more special. I can't be trusted with power tools! On the way home from IKEA we didn't merge over fast enough and got on 95 the wrong way and went over the bridge of death/doom and ended up in downtown New Haven where all of the shootings had been. Oops. Oh well, we didn't die so life was good. I even got a little bamboo lucky stalk. We will see how it grows.
I ended up going to the barn and riding Beau who was crazy but didn't kill me and I lunged Grady who was on the wild side. My puppy Huey accidentally got zapped by the electric fence. It arched off the box and into his metal dog tags. The poor thing yelped and ran and sat on mom's feet. I will probably ride both of them tomorrow after I go to the gym. I am actually going to get myself on the treadmill tonight. I am determined and nothing is going to stop me.

Good Memories and Bad Memories
Ali moved back to Eastern today. It was so strange to go back there but not go back there. Eastern has been my home for the last four years. I have made friends, lost friends, gotten drunk, fallen in love, and had my heart broken. There are memories I want to hold onto and cherish forever and there are memories that I never want to relive again. Every place I went I remembered good times. The dorm I lived in sophomore year, the drunken nights in Laurel. I remember the weekly dinner nights in highrise and the good times with friends around the television in lowrise. I remembered the friends I met and the ones I lost. I remembered the parties I went to with my friends. I remembered the drunken nights stumbling back from Blarney's or across campus. I remember halloween celebrations. I remember where I met people. I remembered the faces and the names. I remembered the boys I liked and the ones I hated. I remembered the nights I went home with guys and making out. I remembered my first kiss. I remembered my first boyfriend and my first break up. I remembered the long nights of pool and movies. I remembered the good classes and the bad classes. I remembered fire drills and history club and the awful Hurley food and the lack of parking. I remembered watching two girls almost have a smack down over parking. I remembered having my first drink and my first time getting drunk. I remembered the fights and the arguments. I remembered my computer getting stolen and the massive lowrise lake that appeared when it rained. I remembered swimming to class and having my umbrella be useless. I remembered the cold days and lonely nights. I remembered my very first back injury and the pain and depression that came with it. I remembered the first boy I fell in love with and the one who broke my heart.
So many memories. Most of them are the ones I want to hold on to and never let go. I want to go back and relive those memories. They say college is the best four years of your life. At first I thought that was a lie. Now I know. Four years came and went and I said goodbye to my temporary home. When I left I was so ready to be done. But now that I look back, I wish that wasn't the case. But it's time to move on with my life. I have to let college and Eastern go. I still have friends there and will go back to see them regularly, but it won't be the same as just randomly wandering over to see them and then wandering back to my room. Now I have to drive forty-five minutes.
I still have friends there. I have Amanda, Brian, Alex Renner, Keri, Susie and Tim. The one I was most surprised at was my friend Tim. We had gone to school together freshman and sophomore year and then he went back to Ohio to go to school there. Now he is back for his final semester as a super senior. I haven't seen him in almost three years and I forgot just how much I have missed him. He isn't the same kid that said goodbye to me all those years ago. He has aged and matured and grown into someone incredible. He really is like my big brother. There is just something about him that makes me feel this way. I can always go to him for help if I need to.
In the evening I went with my family and Amanda, Brian and Tim to dinner. Ali brought her roommate Michelle and we had pizza over by UCONN. It was just nice to be out together having a good time. And then before I knew it, I had to say goodbye and go home. It was just too weird. I could feel the tears and longing tear at my heart, but I had to look away and keep going. I can't live in the past. I have to embrace the future and all the things it has in store for me.
Guess who else I saw today? Mike. It was one of those things that I was expecting but not expecting. I figured I wouldn't see him at all since he hides in his room like a hermit, but low and behold I caught a good glimpse of him. I was sitting in the Laurel 5th floor common area with Tim and Brian and Mike came out of the stairwell. The two of us looked at each other. I mean fully stared at each other and then he walked by and down the hall. No hellos, no nothing. It was as if we were complete strangers. And by now, I guess we could be called that. I don't know anything about his life anymore and he knows nothing about mine. And that's how I want it to stay. That is probably the end for us. In a way I am sad. I look back at all the memories and the moments we shared and wish I could still look at them in a good light. But he is not worth my time. He is not worth dwelling over anymore. I have better friends and an amazing boyfriend in my life now and I don't need him. Maybe someday we can be friends again, but I will never make that first move. I will not. I have a feeling, though, that this is the end. But it's okay. I need to let the past be past.
Tomorrow is back to the gym with gusto as well as riding the horses and going to IKEA to pick up my bookcase (finally). Next week will be the start of personal fitness training school and I need to be in a good workout schedule. I can do it!

I Have Been Eaten Alive!
Yes. I really have been eaten alive by mosquitoes. I have fifteen bites on my legs. Fifteen!! No wonder I was so itchy! I haven't blogged in a few days. I am usually more on top of things but I guess I slipped up big time. Oh well. I might as well catch up. This has been the last few days for me.
Thursday: Riding lesson and hanging with Kyle
Friday: Jocelyn's pool party get together
Today: Work 10am-530pm.
Yup. I have been super busy. But I will try and not be so busy so I can blog better and go to the gym and work off all the fat. I have been having a few body issue days and I am going insane. It's been one of those I don't want to look at myself in a mirror type of day/week. I really hate going on vacation. I swear I have gained like 15 pounds. How am I going to be a personal fitness trainer when I'm not fit? I guess that means I will have to put the pedal to the metal and get myself in shape. That's going to take a lot of work, but it needs to be done in order for me to feel better.
Tomorrow we move Ali into Eastern and I get to see some amazing people up at school as well. I can't wait to see Brian and Amanda and possibly Susie! I just hope I don't run into Mike. Wait. Scratch that. I want to run into him and ignore his presence. That would be even more satisfying to me.
Well I am going to read my book for a bit and maybe watch True Blood but I'm not sure on that one. Kyle should be getting out of work soon so I can chat with him for a bit before I drug up and go to bed. Yeah, my back has been bothering me again. Not happy, but that isn't going to stop me from going to the gym. No sir.

Dude, It's a Llama! No, It's an Ostrich!
Well, I am finally on my way home to Connecticut after being away almost two weeks. I have missed home quite a bit. I miss my bed and my room. I miss my puppy and ponies as well as my friends and boyfriend. It's funny how much you begin to miss the little things in life. Tomorrow it will be back to the usual.
Tomorrow I have a riding lesson in the morning and then I will either go to the gym or hit my treadmill at home before getting ready and going out with Kyle. I have missed him so much and can't wait to get back to him. I know he's feeling the same way as well.
I can't wait to get back to the gym and whip myself into amazing shape with a slim body and amazing abs. I also want a strong back since mine has been acting up again. I'm in quite a bit of pain again but I've been in worse shape so I will be okay. I just wish I knew what this was and if it will ever go away. Or if I will injure it again in a worse way. I hope that doesn't happen for a long time.
Well I think I will take a nap now seeing as I lost my flashlight for reading as well as motivation.

You Can Chew Brad Pitt's Food for Him
Again my relatives amuse me. I made a comment that I could possibly be a personal trainer for Brad Pitt and that's what they came up with for me.
Today was a low key day. I sent most of the day doing nothing and went shopping for a little bit. I got some cold weather underarmor for the winter as well as some exercise tanks. I also got a body scripting bible book. I thought it was pretty cool.
Tonight we celebrated my uncle's birthday with tons of food and cake and now we are watching the end of the Phillies game. They have so few players the pitchers are out in the field. Its pretty epic. My second mitten is almost done and it is looking much better than the first one.
Jocelyn put her dog to sleep this evening and my heart goes out to her and her family. Hillary was a great dog and lived a wonderful and long life with an amazing family. It's never easy to say goodbye. I've done it three times in my life and each was hard.
Tomorrow I am heading home. I miss home and my puppy and ponies and Kyle. It's been way too long since I've seen him. I Ali need to hit the gym. I can feel the pounds coming back and my tummy is done with all this rich food.

I Bought a Game That Gives Me Bruises!
I am blogging from my phone tonight since I am away from my computer at the moment. I am currently coming back from the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. Every summer when we come down to visit we always come here for the food and the shopping that you can only get down here. It's one of the things that I have to get to.
We left for the beach later in the evening. The morning was spent hanging around and knitting. I made a mitten and I am very proud if myself since I've never made something so complicated before. It's a little rough around the edges and kind of lumpy but it looks like a mitten. I still have to make another one. Maybe this one won't be as lumpy.
Eventually we made it to the boardwalk and went to get pizza. It's the most amazing thin crust new York style pizza. Then it was off to walk and shop and eat some more. Tonight it decided to be cold, rainy and windy on the boards and we were bundled in our sweatshirt and dodging between the stores and the rain drops. We got Johnson's caramel popcorn and saltwater taffy. We also got funnel cakes! I love them so much! I also ended up getting this game. This game consists of two hard balls on strings that you clack together. They are really cool but they hurt when you mess up and hit your arms. It's amazing!
Well we are moving now so I am signing off so I don't get car sick again.

Is That Crusted Toilet Paper on the Seat??
After a very long and rainy trip I have finally made it to New Jersey and I am currently sitting on the couch in my grandma's living room. It's just so nice to to be sitting down and knowing that I will get to sleep late tomorrow and that I won't have to travel across multiple states. It's so good to be home (well...sort of!). It rained pretty much all day. That made the drive that much more special. I discovered that I can read and knit and such in the car so that made it a lot better for me since I was able to keep myself entertained in between taking naps. And I took a lot of those. I also had to pee a lot. But I wouldn't tell anyone until I was desperate. That was probably not the smartest thing I could have done but it worked. Mostly. That was until the last rest stop. It was the first one in New Jersey after coming over the Del Mar Bridge. It's a huge rest stop and the facilities closed at 4pm. We got there at 520pm. We had to use port-a-potties. Yeah. I would rather chew off my own leg. But when you have to go you have to go. It was awful. I basically peed as fast as I could while hovering over the seat. My mom went in one, then came out and stated that there was something that looked like crusted toilet paper on the seat. Gross! Next time I'll hold it. Rest areas aren't supposed to close.
The evening has been uneventful. I have been knitting and talking to my family. We had pizza hut which I love and never ever get to eat. Now I think I might try to make mittens. I don't know how that's going to work but I will give it a whirl. I am also close to finishing my book. One more chapter and then I will be done. Yay for Sookie Stackhouse!

Denied Critical Need to Know Information
"I feel I have been denied critical, need-to-know information."

~Burt from Tremors 2~
Today was a very sad day. I had to say goodbye to Myrtle Beach. I always hate saying goodbye. I really wish I could live down there all the time and go to the beach whenever I felt like it, but that is not reality. Also, I know I would never be able to deal with the heat and humidity down there. I like the cold weather. This is why I will always be a New England girl. But goodbye I said to the beach and it was back in the car for a very long time. Now I hate car travel. Shorts trips are fine but long trips drive me bananas because I just get so bored and restless and can't find anything to do.
This trip is always long. I ended up sleeping for a while and then I read and such and eventually watched Tremors and Tremors 2 with Ali. I love those movies. They are amusing and don't make me think too much which is always nice.
We made it back to Norfolk and had dinner at the Grate Steak again. There are like three weddings going on in the hotel but it is nothing compared to the circus that was here the last time. It looks like I will actually be getting sleep here tonight. That always makes me happy.
Tomorrow it is off to New Jersey. I am super excited to spend time there shopping and doing nothing. It's better then running all over the place. Then it will be back to the grind. I really don't want to face it but I have too. I will be starting my job and eventually personal fitness training school and that means I will be busy. I just hope I like it.
Back to knitting and Harry Potter. And talking to Kyle!

Brunhilda! Don't Take My Umbrella!
Today was the final day at the beach and boy was it sad! I always hate the last day. I just look at the beach and the water and tell myself I never want to leave. I would love to be able to stay down here for an entire month and sit on the beach everyday and just do nothing, but that is not reality at all. I wish it was though.
We spent the entire day on the beach. The more time we could stay the better. The weather was still being very weird and it remained mostly cloudy all day so sunburn wasn't that big of a deal. It was nice though because it wasn't as hot and unbearable as it had been with the sun shining directly on us. The water was amazing and we spent as much time as possible out in the water. We were so water logged. It was epic. At one point some fish in distress leaped out of the water and my aunt freaked out and then we all swam with caution looking for the bigger creature that had the fish. I ended up getting a daiquiri for the first time at the beach and found it phenomenal. If I had about three more of those it would have been amazing but I kept it down.
We also watched the Brunhilda lady in her Brazilian skirts come and take down all the umbrellas and chairs. She is a rather surly woman who doesn't care if you're sitting under the umbrella or not. She takes it. My aunt got a huge kick out of making comments about her all week. Made my life complete.
Dinner was seafood and leftovers and then we headed off to do a little shopping. Now I am back at the condo and have collapsed. Tomorrow we are leaving here by 11am and heading back to Norfolk. Hopefully the crazy circus will not be at the hotel there this time. Knowing our luck, they will be there. Oh well.

The LoCanotres are Hostile Towards Karen
Oh my, where do I even begin about today? I feel like I have been going and going and going and now that I am sitting down I realize just how tired I am. It didn't help that I had to get up mad early and didn't make it to the beach at all today.
My Aunt Karen decided to sign us all up for a jeep tour safari. Unfortunately, we were being picked up at 9am. Yeah. That's not my idea of fun, but my aunt insisted and so we went. It was ungodly hot and surprisingly sunny even though the weather was supposed to be iffy. The jeep was all open and we drove everywhere. At least we had a roof covering to shade us from the sun and when the jeep was in motion the air blowing against us felt good. We learned a lot of history and actually had a pretty good time. We stopped at a marshland park and got to see storks in the dozens which are never there as well as an alligator in the salt marsh which is extremely rare. He was out of the water and we could see every inch of him. We even got to see Spoonbill Flamingos which are extremely rare as well. That was a treat and a half. We eventually stopped at a graveyard and saw all kinds of cool graves including this girl Alice who died looking for a wedding ring and if you circle around her grave counter-clockwise backwards thirteen times and tell her you found her ring, she will grant you a wish. I think it's pretty cool. I also saw a grasshopper the size of my hand on a gravestone and then a banana spider that was also the size of my hand. Suddenly, I am glad I don't live there year round.
We got back to the condo much later than expected and grabbed some food from the poolside grill and ran back upstairs where we collapsed. We were going to go to the beach or the pool for a bit but then a huge thunderstorm rolled through the area before we could make it out there. It didn't clear up till we went to dinner at around 730pm. But we didn't waste the day. We went to the bookstore and then the Bass pro shops which was pretty cool.
Dinner was at Captain George's Buffet. They have so much food and it's all you can eat. And you need a crane to get out of the place. I love the food and was glad we were able to come back to it again this year. After that we came back to the condo and I went swimming in the pool with my Uncle Bob and my cousin Nick. We had a good time and tried to ignore the obnoxious brats in the pool that thought they were cool. Yeah. You are so not twenty-one and you are beyond immature. Yup.
Now I have collapsed. Tomorrow is the final beach day and I am extremely sad, but we are going to be spending as much time out there as physically possible. Oh how I am going to miss this!

YAY! Someone Thought It Was My Birthday!
Today was spent doing the usual. We ate breakfast and then went out on the beach. We weren't going to be able to stay as long because we had places to go in the evening but we got plenty of beach time. The water was a little rougher today since the wind was picking up. I also got some pretty nice scratches on my back from being pulled and dragged under when body surfing. I also got stung on the back of my knee by a large and unfriendly jellyfish. It burned and stung like mad! I didn't deter me from going back into the ocean after eating some lunch.
Tonight we went to Medieval Times. I absolutely love that show! It's incredible. You go there and sit in long tables facing the arena and get to eat food with your bare hands off metal plates. And then you get to cheer on your knight. We got the yellow knight who was very cute and very brave. Unfortunately, he battled the green knight and ended up getting cut down. It was still all great fun though. Our server was also very good looking and I got tossed a flower from our knight. That made be exceptionally happy.
On the way home we stopped at a beach store to get odds and ends and then came back to the condo. Ali was still walking around in her yellow crown. We were almost to the elevators when two girls come around the corner, see Ali and wish her a happy birthday. That girl was beaming from ear to ear.
Tomorrow is the nature safari. Somehow I am not looking forward to this one since we are leaving the condo at 9am. Yeah.

Where The Hell is the Hole?
Today was another phenomenal day at Myrtle Beach. The weather was great even though it started out slightly cloudy with a a slight drizzle, but that soon went away and the sun came out and it was hot hot hot. We ended up started out the day by walking around Barefoot Landing. There are lots of shops and food that we wandered around and looked at and we eventually got lunch at Johnny Rocket's which has the most amazing milk shakes ever.
Eventually we got to the beach and spent a bunch of time out there in the sand and sun and ocean. It was great. I absolutely love the beach and I think I might have got a good tan going. I haven't burned at all yet and I hopefully won't the rest of the time I am here.
Dinner was leftovers at my Aunt's condo and then we went out mini golfing. The course we went to was beyond huge with a huge wait, but it was so cool! We climbed all over the place and I actually didn't do too badly. I think I got like four or five hole in ones but still couldn't manage to beat my dad. Oh well. That's life.
Now it's time to veg and do nothing. Tomorrow is more beach and Medieval Times!!

Peanut Butter and Jelly with Cucumbers
It is by far the strangest and most disgusting combination on a sandwich. And only my sister would do that and enjoy eating it. Go figure. She's a nut but I love her anyways.
Today I spent the entire day out at the beach. It was fabulous! The weather was perfect. Sunny and hot, but not too hot. There was a small breeze and the water had to have been 85 degrees. It was seriously like bath water. The waves weren't huge but they weren't small either and I managed to catch a few good ones with my cousin Nick. I ended up playing catch with a football out in the ocean with everyone and eventually found some epic sea shells right by the water edge. We didn't stay out forever since we were going to probably burn and turn into crispy fried chicken and we had to go and eat dinner with everyone over at my Aunt's condo.
One of my uncle's brother's kids is going off to college for the first time and we decided to have a little going away celebration with food and family. There was so much food, but my Aunt Karen really knows how to cook and I seriously wish my stomach could have been bigger. We even had cake and ice cream at the end. Once everyone wound down and DeeDee and Jeff (my uncle's sister in law and brother) with their kids, we sat around with our relatives before eventually heading back to our condo to crash. I am so tired and I didn't even do that much today. I guess the beach does that to you.
Tomorrow we are going off early to shop and eat at Barefoot Landing. It's a really great place and we can't wait for food at Johnny Rockets. I just want their amazing milkshakes! Then it will be the beach all day, followed by leftovers and then some mini golf. A full day!!

If Baptists Take Over, I'll Be Burned at the Stake
I am currently blogging to you guys from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! The weather is phenomenal! Tomorrow I get to spend the entire day on the beach with my family. Tanning, body surfing and drinks. How much better can it get? It was an adventure getting down here, thought. That's for sure. We will back track to last night.
Last night we didn't get to sleep till probably after 4am. Why? Well, our hotel was hosting like two different family reunions and the people in the room next to us were extremely drunk and extremely loud and obnoxious. It reminded me of college, but then college is never as noisy as that thanks to the RAs. Seeing as there are no RAs in hotels, it make it very difficult. No amount of headphones or anything helped. And then when my parents started to snore that was the end. So needless to say, we were all very tired leaving the hotel this morning from Norfolk.
The trip from Norfolk to Myrtle Beach is the longest and most boring trip imaginable. There is nothing to see except trees and the occasional run down house or abandoned building. There are also a lot of fields. And corn. Lots of that too. But the trip started off with a nap. It wasn't a long nap but an hour was okay. When I woke up I discovered we were in traffic. Traffic that was stopped dead. So an hour into our trip we sat in stopped traffic for a half an hour. We did get to see two lifestar helicopters land on the the highway and take people away. We think it might have been a motorcycle accident, but who knows. It was still interesting. Not long after the traffic started moving again we saw a pick up truck ahead of us. A normal pick up truck, with a man sitting in the back of the truck. Yup. That's the South for you.
Eventually we traveled and traveled and made it into a remote part of South Carolina. This was after we had left the tourist attraction called South of the Border and after this creepy kid from Eastern started talking with me again. The last time he talked to me he wanted a date. This time he wanted a date. No offense, but you are skeevy. I thought so freshman year and still think so. Okay. Now this remote part of South Carolina is something else. There isn't much to see. Not much traffic and not much of anything else. Most of the sporadically placed houses are simply trailers and that's it. There are so many different run down and abandoned places and some of the towns we passed through were all boarded up. It is a very poor place to be. The other thing there was a lot of were baptist churches. Now I am not religious at all. I looked over at my sister and told her that if for some reason Baptists ever took over the world I would probably be burned at the stake for being Satan or something.
But we made it! We got there and unloaded and then ended up going swimming in the hotel pool with my Aunt Karen, Mom-Mom and cousin Nick. We eventually came back to the room, changed, went out for some dinner and then went grocery shopping. Now we are back at the condo and just relaxing. I cannot wait to go to bed and actually get some sleep. Tomorrow is the beach all day and then having a giant pasta dinner and celebration for my cousin's cousin who is starting college this year. Lots of stuff to do!

The Three Ring Circus of a Hotel
It is mad early for me and I am mad exhausted. Why you might ask? The extremely loud and obnoxious drunk black people from the family reunion thing. Oh yes. They didn't shut up till probably 4am or so. Seriously. Some people like me and my family are trying to sleep. When I went out to the car with my mom to get spoons and my make up we saw so many wild things. The hotel lobby was crawling with people who were all drunk and loud. There were people plastered with their drinks in the elevator. It reminded me of a wild and out of control three ring circus.
My relatives made it their hotel safely though they did have someone pass them on the highway in the left lane going the opposite direction. Scary! At least we are finally making it to Myrtle Beach today. That just makes life that much more amazing.

Are You Shuffling the Napkins?
Oh the South!! Let me tell you I have had the most amazing night here in Norfolk, VA at the Grate Steak restaurant, a gas station and Walmart! I don't even know where to begin with it all but I guess I could start from the beginning and leaving New Jersey. That would just be the easiest for me.
We left New Jersey a little later than we expected but that is about par for my family. We had the dogs for the evening and Kodi and Daisy were kind of crazy but that is usual for them. We were about to start loading up the car when all three dogs were going crazy and looking out the window. My dad looks out and tells us Aunt Karen is walking to the door. Now she was supposed to leave with the rest of my family at 7am this morning. She comes in and explains her tooth ache got worse in the night and she had an appointment at 1130am to get her root canal done and get medications for it and such. They were going to be leaving after she got done. So we packed up and said goodbye.
The trip was boring. I watched about 15 minutes of a movie before falling asleep and taking a nap for a bit. Then I woke up and we found a Chic-fil-a and had some amazingly fattening food before heading back off. I ended up putting up my headphones and finishing my book and found myself almost in Norfolk. We went over the bridge-tunnel and saw a couple ships pass by before heading to the hotel.
We get to the hotel and, as we did last year, there was a giant party/reunion thing and there were so many people wearing the most bizarre things I have ever seen. But I guess that is just the people down here. We got to the room and collapsed for a little bit before getting a phone call from my Aunt Karen. They were only thirteen miles from the bridge/tunnel and heading our direction. They hadn't had dinner yet so they ended up meeting us at the hotel and we all went off to the Grate Steak for amazing food. While we were there my aunt ended up taking some Vicodin and such and got loopy/buzzed. At one point I look over at her and asked her if she was shuffling the napkins. She looked at me and told me that they had a pretty pattern.
After the food we split directions and they headed to their hotel farther away and we heading to Walmart to get some things. We stopped for gas first. And saw a transvestite. That's right. A transvestite. It was the most amazing and hysterical thing I have ever seen in my entire life! Then we found a Walmart and went in to grab some stuff. At 10pm this Walmart was popping! I have never seen so many people gravitate to one place like that before. These were some of the strangest and most amazingly amusing people I have ever seen. Some of the outfits! Oh my god! It was spectacular!!
Now we are back at the hotel and watching some television and stuff. I will probably knit for a little bit and such before we all go to bed. Tomorrow is the last leg of the trip to Myrtle Beach! I cannot even wait to get there and go swimming! Unfortunately my monthly friend decided to visit me, so I might get eaten by sharks, but I am going to do everything in my power to avoid that!

This Store is for Preppy Sluts and Laura
I love my family. End of story. We decided to go shopping at the Moorsetown Mall in New Jersey since we really had nothing else to do for the entire day. I like going shopping but it can be pretty deadly sometimes especially when you see something you really like and you are torn because you really don't want to spend money but you really want the item. Yeah. Well at first I ended up going into Victoria Secret because I wanted to try on the new Incredible Bra. It was fabulous and I ended up buying it because it was so nice and I only have three bras in my correct size. Well, one of the sales girls came over to help me find my size that wasn't in a push-up. I told her I needed a D and she looked at me funny and was wondering if I was actually a double D. So she measured me. And we both found something interesting. I measure funny. I am a 34 around my rib cage and a 41 around my bust. Because of the 7 inch difference that would make my cup size a G and I am clearly NOT a G. She told me that some people just measure funny that way. She also told me that I had a deceptively narrow rib cage and that I should feel honored. I was okay with it. But now I know why I look funny in clothes and such. I look bigger than I really am. I told my parents I was disproportionate but no one listens. After that I ended up going into American Eagle. I absolutely love the clothes there but they are just so expensive. That's when my sister came up to me and told me that the store was for preppy sluts and me. This is why I love my family.
Tomorrow we are leaving my grandmother's house and heading off to Norfolk, VA. My grandmother went to stay with my Aunt Karen and Uncle Bob because they are going to leave at 7am tomorrow with my cousin Nick to go to Washington DC to go to Mount Vernon. They are going to then stay overnight in Emporia. I believe that is in Virginia but I could be wrong on that front. I like Norfolk. It's a nice place and there is the most amazing steak restaurant there. The Grate Steak. Oh. My. God. They put Outback to shame. That's how good this place is. You can actually go and cook your own steak on their huge ass grill. It's amazing! We ended up doing that once since the kitchen was so backed up. It was so much fun and the servers are there helping you and making sure you don't murder your dinner.
I am glad that I got the internet to work on my computer here at my grandmother's house. It can be a little twitchy but it works enough for me to do what I have to do, even though my phone can do it all as well. At least that is good for me to know because now I don't even need the computer, but typing on this keyboard is so much easier than trying to do it all by touch screen since I am not very good at it.
I'm off to knit/read/write as well as pay attention to my Aunt Karen's dogs Kodi and Daisy. Until tomorrow!

Everything but the Kitchen Sink
Yup that's pretty much what I have packed to go on my vacation. Everytime I pack I always feel like I am forgetting something and I probably am but most stuff I can buy if I need it enough so right now I'm not worried. I am actually pretty tired from travelling.
I made it to new jersey and am beat. Okay. I am always beat but that's nothing new for me. Okay I've decided that blogging from my phone is pretty damn difficult but my computer is being a butt and won't hook up at my grandmothers house so I am doing this the hard way.
Tomorrow I get to sleep late and do nothing. It sounds uber amazing to me. I might even get to go shopping with my family for a little bit. Then it will be off to myrtle beach! I cannot wait to sit and tan and hopefully I will have better luck with my internets.
Well I'm off to knit or read and talk to Kyle. I miss him already.

I Think You Have Crotch Rot.
I seriously love my family. Only they would say something like that. And no I do not have crotch rot. If I had it I think I would know about it. Hopefully.
Tomorrow I leave on vacation! It has been way too long since I have escaped from the confines of Connecticut and I am so ready to be gone from here. I just need a break from everything. I will miss Kyle, though. The two of us ended up spending the evening together. We went and got burgers and fries from Five Guys and then basically hung out for the rest of the evening. It was a lot of fun and I am going to miss him. It will be weird not seeing him for about two weeks or so and not going with him to Buffalo Wild Wings. Now that I am going away, I am really realizing how much he really means to me. I always think of myself as being indifferent because my emotions are not as strong with him as they were with Mike, but now I am feeling them. I really am going to miss him. And I really do like him a lot. The time will go by fast and I will see him again.
I have packed quite a bit of what I am taking with me tomorrow. It shouldn't take me too long to finish up the rest of it tomorrow. The clothes are always the hardest part for me for some reason. At least they are out of the way. I probably packed way too much but I'd rather have too many clothes than not enough!
Hopefully I will be able to get to the gym and blog tomorrow before I am crammed in a car for four hours on my way to New Jersey. I would blog from my phone but my phone was being very stupid and wouldn't let me type anything in the box. It let me put in a title but that was it. So much for that. I'll try it again but I am not guaranteeing anything.

Lemonade and Land Sharks
So I have officially decided that my sister is the craziest person alive. Seriously. Apparently at camp she is known as the Lemonade Bitch because she has to make the lemonade for the camp kids and then lug it around all over the place. Beer wenches have nothing on the good old lemonade bitches! Tonight we were watching Jaws for dinner and talking about the giant shark that came up on the Jersey shore. My dad was wondering what type of shark it was and my sister said, with a perfectly straight face, that it was a land shark. It came up on the land and then went back into the water. Yup. Special.
I actually got my lazt self to the gym today for a little bit before I headed off to Eastern. We were supposed to be getting my sister her books, but they weren't ready yet. That was okay since I got a notebook and planner for Branford Hall as well as a book that my friends Marie and Molly were telling me to read. It seems really interesting so I am going to have to devote some time to that. I also managed to pick up my diploma! It is so cool! I seriously can't believe that I have a bachelors degree. Wow. Where has the time gone! So I decided to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than UCONN Dairy Bar ice cream! So good!
Even though my throat is sore and it's making me sad I am going to write some more. I wrote the first chapter to my new story and really liked it and have many thoughts and ideas rolling around my head for the next chapter which I am going to start tonight. Maybe finish tonight but who knows. When I get on a roll I go all out.

Hear My Moo of Fury!!
Guess what? Okay two things for the guess what. Number one. I am actually writing right now! No, I am not writing the story I am struggling with and I am not editing the one I have been editing. I am writing something completely new and different and am super excited about it right now! I am going to finish the first chapter and maybe move on if I am motivated enough. I haven't been in so long that I am on a roll and will go till I run out of steam or ideas. And the second one. I got the cider mill job in Shelton! I am going to have moneys again! YAY! I got the call this evening and will start after I come back from vacation. I cannot wait. You have no idea right now.
I also finished the second season of True Blood. It was amazing! Tomorrow I am going to start season three and hopefully catch up with the rest of the world. Yes. I am an addict and I am okay with that.
Oh, I have decided that I really hate people. Okay this isn't really new, but I felt I should mention it. Everyone has that one person that drives them up the wall no matter what. We all do so don't say its false. I have one. One of the girls at the barn. Now at Hillside I had quite a few people to hate. It was glorious and much deserved. When we came to Kim's that wasn't the case. I didn't think I had anyone to hate, which secretly made me kind of sad. But that all changed. Now I have someone to hate again. Okay. Hate is a strong word. I guess I could use dislike. Strongly dislike. What annoys me about this girl? Pretty much everything actually. Let's see. I don't like riding with her. She has absolutely no ring manners whatsoever and this that everyone should get out of her way. I hate how she always flirts with her boyfriend in front of everyone. Seriously, no one else wants to see him touching your leg like that and no one wants to hear your ugly baby voice. There is more I would like to say about her and her boyfriend. One is never far from the other. Whenever he appears out there without her, she is sure to be coming. And vice versa. I hate her horse. That stupid mare took a huge chunk out of my horses face and constantly kicks the stall door. Not to mention she almost killed me and a camp kid during the week I was working. The horse is huge and fat and sounds like a freight train. She makes Grady look small and light. That girl also puts twelve billion pieces of equipment on that horse. Seriously, your trainer will get on with half the gear and make that horse look so much better. Besides, draw reins all the time is doing nothing for you. The girl is also an unnatural rider. I swear to god, nothing moves when she rides. It looks like she isn't real or something. I would love to see her get on Grady and try to get him to go around. Good luck, sweetheart. She's also the slowest human being on this planet. I thought my sister was but this girl takes the cake. I have never seen someone spend so much time grooming and primping that horse. She'll come out there, groom for an hour and then ride for ten minutes. Yeah. That's so beneficial. I don't know how much more she can shave on that horse but it's ridiculous. There was one day I came out to the barn and she was bathing that horse. She then disappeared to the other barn. I rode and did everything I needed to. Was there for over two hours. No lie. That girl was bathing that horse again when I was leaving. No wonder the horse's coat is so dull. No amount of brushing with ever fix that. Today was the clincher. Ali told me that she had told her boyfriend to give the horse another scoop of beet pulp because the horse needed to be fatter. Beet pulp is this mush that is supposed to help put on weight. She is the only horse in the barn that gets it. She is also fat with a potbelly. You can't see any ribs on that horse when you are supposed to see faint outlines. Yeah, sorry about the rant but I was annoyed with it all. I am not going to look forward to seeing that girl all winter. I might just shoot myself or her. Probably her.
Oh well. I get to go on vacation starting Thursday so that makes life so much better. I can make it to Thursday and then I am gone for a long time.

Holme's What is That? Je ne sais pas.
This entire day turned out pretty good all in all. I ended up being a party hopper but it was all good for me. Cindy from the barn was hosting a surprise party for Gail for her birthday at her house. There was a whole bunch of people there and we all made her very happy. It was also good to catch up with everyone. People you see all the time and people you haven't seen in a very long time. I was there for a little while and then I popped off.
I met Marie, Molly and Kelly and we all went to West Hartford and Blue Back Square to the Cheesecake Factory for a birthday dinner with Marie. The food and drinks were amazing. I have never been so full! And Jambalaya is amazing! We had a great time there and eventually wandered back to Molly's for amazing cake and movies. We watched Sherlock Holmes. It was fabulous! I love Robert Downy Jr. He is just phenomenal! Especially when he used his psycho cattle prod!
I was supposed to be going to NYC with Amanda and Brian tomorrow but Amanda is sick so I think we are holding off until Monday to go. That's okay with me because I need the sleep! I also have decided I need to go on major gym overhaul to get my fat self in shape. That should be oh so much fun!

View Master Stereoscope
Today was my dad's 60th birthday. It's crazy that it's been so long, but he is still amazing to me. Since we had gotten him a computer for father's day, he didn't really want much for his birthday. We got him the usual movies and movie gift certificates but this real we also gave him a view master stereoscope. Every kid has had one at some point. They are usually big and red and you stick little disks in them and then see pictures that tell a story. Well this wasn't just any view master stereoscope. This happened to be my dad's stereoscope from when he was a kid. Still in the original box that he had written, "Paul's not Johnny's." Apparently my uncle was after it.
We had so much fun looking through it and looking at all the little disks. It was one of those amazing rare finds in my grandmother's house. You never know what you might find.

I Don't Want to Grow Up! I'm a Toys R Us Kid!
That's right. You heard me. I don't want to grow up. Growing up is no fun at all. After being hounded and nagged at by my mother I have started applying to jobs via careerbuilder.com. Oh it is just a barrel full of monkeys. I applied to seven different jobs and I am hoping that maybe something will turn up with them. If not oh well. I'll apply for more. I'll probably try to apply to a few a night. That will make it a little less stressful for me in the end. So now my phone is awesome and all set for two different email accounts coming into it. I have mail coming out of my nose and I love it!
I am actually going to do a few things tomorrow. Go to the gym is one of them. Another is return my very over due library books and then I am going to go talk to Branford Hall and actually go there. Yup. I am going to do it. My interview for the cider mill job is tomorrow at 6pm. I am nervous and excited for it. I hope it goes well and something comes out of it. Otherwise I will be sad but then continue to look for other jobs and such.
There was lots of drama today with people and I am hoping tomorrow will be better because it hurts me so much when my friends cry to me over the phone because of stupid asses. It better be better. Otherwise there will be ass kickings!

Chuck Norris!!!
Yes. I found an application for my phone that has Chuck Norris facts. I am just that awesome!
I actually found shirts that fit my large ta tas today. The key? Plus size clothing. They are big everywhere else, but the girls fit perfectly. I guess that was the key all along. Tonight was a fun night. I ended up going out to the Manchester mall for dinner and window shopping with Reeni. Neither of us have a lot of money to spend, so window shopping was epic. We had fun trying on clothes and shoes and even looking at engagement rings. They were just so gorgeous. If only I was getting engaged, but currently the thought of marriage makes me twitch. I know I will definitely want one from Littman's Jewelers. Their rings were gorgeous!
I am now sitting and watching (or trying to watch) True Blood and knitting. I think I might try to write tonight. But I say that every night and nothing happens. Sigh.

La La La La La That's All I Hear You Saying.
I am quite addicted to that song. There is just something so addicting about it. I wish I had it for a ringtone but no one has it and it makes me very sad. Oh well. It will come out eventually.
Today was a boring day. I went to the mall with my mom and we had a good time running around all over the place. I love spending time with my mom. Then we went to the barn and I rode my moose who was being a very good boy for me. He is being used for camp all week because they are all beginners. I don't mind. It gives him something to do and he is a good boy.
Tomorrow I get to see Reeni for the first time all summer! I am super excited! She just got the iPhone tonight and is having a blast with it at the moment. The two of us are doing phone comparisons and such tomorrow and looking for lovely cases and such for them!
I should be doing something constructive right now but I have no idea what to do. Oh well. I'll figure something out.

Gummi Bear Rescue
Wow. Where on earth has this summer gone? I feel like i blinked and it was pretty much gone. Oh well I guess that was bound to happen and such. I never did get around to blogging yesterday but I shall sum up what happened.
I went to Terrywille Park in Danbury for a picnic and hiking with Amanda and Brian. It was so much fun! All in all I think the three of us went about ten miles and even blazed our own trial at one point. That included scaling a steep rock face but it was all in good fun. After we managed to get back to where our cars were, we went off to Friendly's for food and ice cream. The three of us ended up getting the giant crowd pleasure. Each of us got four scoops of ice cream and two toppings each. The thing was huge and we ate the whole thing! Our waiter was quite impressed.
Later in the evening I ended up getting a call from Jeanette and ended up meeting her out in West Hartford for drinks. Alex Moura joined up with us and the three of us had a great time! I was so happy I was home with nothing to do for once!
All I know is I am so sore from yesterday. My butt hurts so bad and so to my legs. I guess it serves me right, but it was so much fun! I also ended up getting an e-mail back from the cider mill with the attached application and filled it out and sent it all back in. I have a job interview at the cider mill on Thursday at 6pm! I am super excited because apparently I was the only girl that applied and Dan and Kyle both believe I will get the job. I hope I do. It would definitely make me happy to have a job and some money in my pocket!
Now that I finished knitting for now I am trying to figure out what else to do with myself. I might actually do some writing that has nothing to do with the edits I have been doing. I need a break from that otherwise I will probably go bonkers.
