Today I ended up going to Joann Fabrics today. Now I haven't been in one of those stores since I was in middle school. At least. Well we went to one today to get fleece material to make blankets. That was fine. I got pirate fleece and had a great time picking it out. And then I went wandering around the store and found what can only be described as Knitters Paradise. I have never seen so much yarn in one place before. It was insane. I seriously thought I had died or something. I found more free patterns than I can shake a stick at and more yarn than I could ever know what to do with. My family had to bodily drag me out of the store. It was that bad. Going to the AC Moore down here after that was a serious disappointment. They had nothing compared to Joann Fabrics.
Tonight I made my blanket. Cutting and knotting. That's all it was and I made a blanket out of two pieces of fabric. I have always wanted to make one of those and now that I finally did I absolutely loved it. I love projects like that!!

The Plain Jane
It is so nice to not be at home in Connecticut. While I enjoy Connecticut I am rather sick of it at the moment and New Jersey is a much needed retreat. For the first time in I don't know how long I sat around all day and pretty much did nothing. It was phenomenal. I haven't been able to do nothing in, well, forever. Pretty much the day went as such:
I woke up.
I ate breakfast.
I started and finished the book The Road.
Went shopping.
Bought a $60 athletic outerwear jacket for $25.
Went to the Apple store and got my ipod looked at and replaced.
Went to the bookstore and bought books. (like I need any more)
At dinner and dessert.
Replaced all songs on my ipod.
Read cosmo
And now here I am.
All in all it was a good day. I was happy that I was able to get my ipod classic looked at. It has been doing many weird things and the guys there thought it was a problem with the dock. So since my ipod was still under warranty for the next 67 days I got a brand new ipod classic free of charge. Pretty sweet if I do say so myself.
While reading cosmo I came upon something rather interesting. There was a section in the magazine that really caught my attention. What your ex's next girlfriend reveals about you. As soon as I saw the title, I had to read on. And I learned some rather interesting things.
The Plain Jane: Her daily uniform is jeans and a tee, and her idea of a beauty routine is a quick shampoo. What does this say about me??? His bland choice means that your beauty (and brains) intimidated the hell out of him. It's time you dated a guy who is confident enough to feel like your equal.
Yup. Explains it all. Maybe it also explains why Matt Mercer is trying so damn hard to get me into bed with him. It's rather driving me up a wall. I have got to find normal men. Then again I have a great feeling that that isn't so possible. Oh well. Guess that means Kathleen and I are going to have to go out places!

Its Like a Giant Massage Chair!
I found out what happens when one of the rear rims of your car is badly bent. I haven't driven my car on the highway since I got the snow tires put on. They told me I might feel some vibration. I think they totally underestimated the amount of vibration I would encounter. I seriously thought the car wasn't going to make it. We were going sixty on the highway and it felt as. If the car was going to fall apart around me. Ali stated that it was like sitting in a giant massage chair. Poor Gerry. After a while the vibration diminished but it was still impressive!
Well I am on my way to New Jersey! I am super happy to be going away for a while. I have just had enough with Connecticut for a while. And when I come back it will be the new year and I will be able to start fresh. After the train wreck of 2010 I am ready for something better. There have just been so many bad memories from this year. I need something new and better. New goals and ambitions.
I ended up finishing my Sword of Truth series last night. I have made it through the eleven or twelve books on the series and finally came to the end. I have been so invested in all of the characters that it just seems so weird to say goodbye to them. It was seriously an amazing series and I am going to miss it greatly. It ended as it should and left me with a happy fullfilled feeling.
I ended up creatively writing for the first time since my flash drive failed and I ended up losing everything. I was bored and sat down at 3am and ended up free writing. It came out really well even if it was rather morbid. When I come back from New Jersey I am going to send out my flash drive and get the information off it. Unfortunately for a hefty price...
Well I am going to take a nap. Or read my new book The Road. It is a very interesting book. So far interesting enough to keep me entertained.

Control the Waterworks!!!
I just bawled watching the end of The Return of the King. I haven't sat down and watched the entire movie from start to finish in a long long time. And since it was on TNT tonight, I ended up watching it. What else is there to do where you are snowbound at home? It was just as amazing as I remembered and I once again bawled my eyes out at the end while Ali was yelling at me to control the waterworks. Yeah. Didn't happen. Oh well. Everyone needs a good cry occasionally.
It is mad windy out right now. It's pretty much been snowing all day now. They have been calling for 12-18 inches of snow for us here. I am interested to see how much we actually get, but the wind is complicating things. Our lights keep flickering pretty good every now and then. We just keep hoping that the power doesn't go out otherwise we are going to be in a world of trouble.
Okay. Off to sort through laundry, find my phone which is getting 278492030 text messages at the moment for some random reason (probably all from facebook) and then find my bed and read more of my book. Everyone is in mortal peril and this is the last book of the series. I am way over half way through and cannot see how this is going to end happily.

Spanish GPS = Epic Traveling
Today I ended up driving to South Windsor with my classmate Kathleen to go to a Christmas eve bootcamp at Now Carabase's studio. We had a fun road trip. It was made even better by the fact that Kathleen's gps decided to speak in either Spanish or German. The two of us had a great laugh over it. It was just so super unexpected! We were really nervous about the bootcamp at first but after getting there and actually doing it we had a lot of fun. Joe was not as intimidating and was really encouraging to everyone. It was just cool to see him in a different setting that school.
All I know is that it is very strange. Usually we spend Christmas eve with Babci but that wasn't the case. It makes me miss her even more knowing that she won't be here anymore for holidays. She's still with me in my heart though and thats what matters most.
And one final note. You'll shoot your eye out! Yay for the Christmas story! 24 hours of amazingness!

I Can't Put My Arms Down!!
You can't have Christmas without the movie A Christmas Story. It is just so classic, and no matter how many times I watch it, I am never bored with it. It is just that amazing.
Today I had parties everywhere. At school, the PFTs decided that we all wanted to throw a holiday party with tons of food and friends. And that is exactly what we ended up doing! People brought all kinds of food and Carrie Ann busted out the leg warmers and an amazing Christmas CD. even Joe got into it, bringing food and mingling with all of us. Honestly, by him mingling, it made me and everyone else relax. Being on the same level wasn't scary anymore. Sure, he is still very intimidating, but he dropped it down a little bit during the party and such.
Tonight was also the City Slickers Christmas party and it was awesome having food and gifts with part of the barn family. I really enjoyed it, although my food journal took a major beating with it all. I guess it was worth it.
I can't even believe that tomorrow is Christmas eve. Where did all the time go??? I still haven't been able to figure that out yet. Tomorrow, Joe is holding a half hour long bootcamp at his studio in South Windsor. And half of the PFTs are going. I am going, along with Kathleen, Brian and Jared. The four of us are meeting at school and then carpooling together. Jason is going to be going and maybe a few others. Joe seemed really excited for all of us to come and I am super excited to try something new with all my friends. It is probably going to kill me, but I am ready to go!!!
And on that note, the going is going to stop and I am going to drop!

If I Drink Any More Water I Might Explode
I am officially back to being the fiery red vixen once more. Oh how I have missed my red highlights! It is so nice for a change of pace, and the red is very bright and noticeable. And I love it.
The night has been relatively quiet. Nothing big happening. And that's really it. My life is terribly boring.
Food logs are a pain in the bum. And I have only been doing this for one day.
And drinking water sucks. My body has no idea what to do with any of it. And so it gets rid of it. I hope this gets better. Otherwise I might quit on this endeavor.

Jersey Shore Fist Pumping Train Wreck
Tonight I had an awesome time rock climbing with Molly! She has been trying to get me to go climbing with her for the longest time and I finally got the time to go and boy was it fun!! I climbed all kinds of walls and didn't do too badly after I got a little more courage and learned how to trust me feet and smear a little more. There were a couple times were I had some problems, but I managed to keep going. That's why you always need a good person to belay you! After we climbed the walls a bunch we went to the boulder cave and climbed some more. Bouldering is where you climb without harness or ropes. It isn't super high up and there are plenty of mats to fall on when and if you fall. That was a lot of fun too especially since half the time you are hanging upside down, but its all good fun! I am mos def going to have to go again. It is mos def a strength workout and I have amazing calluses, but it will get better as I go along.
After that we ended up going out to dinner with her boyfriend and one of his friends. It was so nice to hang out with them since I haven't in so long. And I am so going to try and go rock climbing again. Once I learn how to belay and such it will be easier. And the equipment shouldn't be too expensive.
And Fedex needs to go shove it.

If I Yawn Too Much I'm Afraid I'll Moo
My house is officially decorated for Christmas. Yeah, it took a while, but it looks splendid now and it makes me really excited. I still can't believe that Christmas is less than a week away. Where on earth did all the time go?? I just seems like it flew by. But in some ways that is okay with me. I cannot wait to go to New Jersey from New Years and escape from Connecticut for a little while. I just need a change of scenery and I need a fresh start with the New Year.
I now have a new stalker in life. But that doesn't seem super new for me anyways. Matt Mercer now has it out for me since I am suddenly fair game because Kyle is going out with a friend's ex. Yeah, no. Mercer is nice, but I really don't see him like that. And he has no right to know what my sexual escapades are like! Creepy!!!
I think we are still going to be making some sugar cookies tonight. So far the dough looks, feels and smells like my grandma's. Now we are going to have to find out if they taste like hers. It makes me sad to think about it. I would always go over to her house and make them with her and then eat half of them. But no longer. Her house remains cold and empty, devoid of the amazing, loving woman it housed for so long. I hope we can make her proud with the cookies.
Tomorrow is the start of a new semester at Branford Hall. It seems silly since we have a week there and then are on break from the 24th to the 3rd of January. Oh well. It will mos def be tough getting back into it, but I need a break.
And I seriously think if I drink anymore milk I will moo when I yawn. That was from the movie Christmas in Connecticut. I didn't watch it for long this morning, but I did see enough to catch that line!

Che Guevara Has His Own Cologne???
It's kind of random what you hear on the television, especially if your back is turned and you are concentrating on something else. It was a commercial for a men's cologne. They said the name so fast and garbled that it sounded like Che Guevara. I seriously got a major kick out of that one!
I survived yet another semester at Branford Hall and made it through exercise psychology and business. Business was the toughest part but I managed to do okay in it. This afternoon we had to actually present out business plan to the entire class, plus some other people that Joe rounded up to listen as well. It was the most terrifying I have done, yet I went up there and did it and did it well. I was the only one out of the class who managed to get full points on my presentation. Joe laughed at me and told me I worry for no reason. Yup. That's me!
The end of the day was spent functional training with the other class of PFT students. I got to work with someone I have never worked with before. Logan and I paired up. It was funny because at first he had absolutely no idea what to do with me. He told me he didn't know what I was capable of doing. I told him I could do anything. And I did everything he asked me to do. And boy was he impressed! It was nice working with someone different. Especially if they are cute!
I am now an official member of Gold's Gym in Bristol!!! It took a bit of courage to walk in there, but it was probably the best thing I could have done. I was barely through the front door before I was greeted and they helped me immediately. I was show the entire gym and they found the best fit membership for me and got me all set to go. It is incredible how friendly everyone is there! I even chatted with Kip Randall who is the general manager. I am hoping if I make myself visible then I will hopefully end up working there or externing there at some point. That would be incredible for me! After leaving there I went to the YMCA to cancel my membership. The difference was incredible. I wasn't greeted and the woman who eventually talked to me seemed huffy and annoyed that I was bothering her with a termination of membership. She even sounded kind of sarcastic when she told me the fill out the termination form. I am glad I am done there. Time to move on to something better. And tomorrow I will try it all out. You want to know what really sold me with the gym? The have a room of punching bags. Yup. I can beat the shit out of a punching bag now. And it's included in my membership!!

Fine. She Can Have My Sloppy Seconds.
I just found out that Kyle has a girlfriend. Ikeem's ex. I have a few things to say about this:
1. Where they hell have I been?
2. When did this happen?
3. I am 537892042 times hotter.
4. Is Mercer hitting on me?
5. Yes. Mercer is hitting on me.
6. How is Ikeem taking this?
7. Answer. Not good.
8. How do I feel about this? Good Question.
9. Fine. She can have my sloppy seconds. I hope she enjoys them.
And the final overriding thought out of the whole thing.
10. This girl has nothing on me. I am so much sexier, beautiful, aggressive, driven, fierce, and above all confident. And this will NOT stand in my way from being better.
Gold's Gym. Tomorrow. Membership. Work out. Get big. Beat up small weak pussy girls.
The end.

I Think You Have a Mutant Scapula
I was surprisingly not super sore after my two hour massage even thought I was told that might be the case. I was pretty happy with the results. There were two knots that we were not able to get out, though. Next Wednesday will hopefully fix that. But the two knots sit on top of each other on the left side of my back right where my scapula sits. Well there is a point on my back in that spot where the knots are that's very tender. My friend Miguel poked at it and then stated that I had a mutant scapula. I love my classmates. I am hoping that this knot goes away next massage I get.
We ended up playing Jeopardy in exercise psych today and let's just say it got kind of vicious and almost turned into full contact Jeopardy. Life was going well until Alyin decided to show up late and that awful jealous, angry "I must prove I'm better" thing kicked in and oh boy. All my classmates thought it was hysterical how viciously competitive it became. But it ended well and we all get extra points, though my team won and graciously shared our points.
I met another girl today that I instantly disliked. It was the immediate bad vibe, must punch in face kind of thing. Chino was chatting her up since she is a night student and was making up hours from her business class with Joe. She just went on how much she hated him and the class and how she basically flipped him off and such. I have never met another person with such a shitty attitude. Seriously, you are nothing and really need to go crawl your slick bitch ass back under the rock you came from. She apparently has a meeting with Joe and Miss P. I hope she gets her ass kicked out of school. She seriously doesn't deserve to be there with the attitude she has.
I ended up training Gina and Melissa today since Brian had to leave for personal reason. Jay was staying to make up hours, so he ended up joining me in the training. We took turns and all had a really good time. The girls had a great workout and were really happy to have gotten it in even with Brian not being there. It's really good for me because it gives me a chance to train and get my feet wet and gives me more experience. The next time a faculty member wants to be trained I am going to jump on it. I really want to get better at what I do and I think that would be excellent for me. Boot my confidence up! After the training Jay and I chatted for a while and such. He is one of my best friends at school and I am seriously super glad I met him. Same with pretty much all my classmates. They have become my family. I still think it's funny when I look back and see how much I debated about going. I am also glad I decided to start in September. Otherwise, I would not be as close to the people I am with now.
My business plan is finished. I think I need to collapse.

Is It Just Me or is This Bench Mad Small??
I think we have all reached the burnout phase at school. We only have two more days left in the semester, but it seems like an eternity. Especially for all of us in business class. We just need all of this to be over with. I have no idea what I am going to get in this class, but so far I seem to be doing okay. But that means nothing.
Today in class Joe took each of us aside one by one and talked to us about our business plans and answered any questions that we had about everything. Well, he decided to hold these mini one on ones in the hallway on this bench. Let's just say this was the smallest bench in the world. I didn't think they made benches this small, but I guess anything is possible. Now, to me, Joe is very intimidating. He just has a presence that makes me shake in my boots. I am not usually like that with people. Rarely do I find someone who really intimidates me. But this man just looks at me and I cower. Well, doing a one on one about my business plan with him on a tiny ass bench where I am only three feet from him was like my greatest fear in the world. Even though we were at eye level to each other I still felt like he towered over me. He is much more intimidating up close than across a classroom. At least that is how I feel. I managed to survive and I think he tried his hardest not to scare the crap out of me. Because if anyone could read my terrified body language, he could. He is just kind of like that. But I survived. Somehow. It was still an interesting experience for me. I wonder if him being mad sexy terrifies me. I dunno but whatever it is I find it fascinating that this man has such an effect of terror on me.
I finally had my two hour massage today. It was the shortest two hours of my life. It was fabulous. I left feeling like mush and it was amazing. I am usually so stiff and tense that it was such a nice feeling to be relaxed. I think the heat also worked to help Bethany try and break up some of the knots, scar tissue and adhesions in my back. As far as she could tell with working on me the muscles that got affected when I injured my back were parts of the lower trapezius, possibly the rhomboids and the quadratus lumborum. In seeing where they are located in my anatomy book I can see how it caused me major pain. At least we are working through it slowly. It is better that nothing. I still have a few stubborn knots on my left side of my back, but that is for my appointment next week. I cannot wait for that!

Wow! You Suck!
Apparently, according to my classmate Miguel, I am wicked inflexible and there is just no helping me. He really knows how to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I have no flexibility in my back and no matter how hard I try I can't seem to make it better. Even with Miguel, Logan and Jay trying to help me. Oh well. I guess being a two by four is okay in some respects.
I seriously cannot wait for the week to be over with. I am so exhausted and I still haven't caught up on sleep since I finished house sitting. While it was a new experience, I am definitely glad it's over so I can sleep in my own bed and not have to worry about twelve hundred different things. Now I just have to make it through the last week of the semester. I am so ready to be done with business!
My phone is semi back to normal. I have all my contacts back, but haven't replaced anything else that is missing off of all my screens. Like my email which I didn't activate. Oops. At least my replacement phone should be in tomorrow and then I can start over again. I am pissed because I was finally doing amazing at angry birds. Oh well.
I think I might go to bed now. Yes. I am that tired.

At Least I Can Still Call Olive Garden
My cell phone tried to commit suicide and semi succeeded. I was playing angry birds and enjoying myself immensely when my phone freaked out and continued to restart itself over and over again. It wouldn't even turn on all the way. Well I put it down and ignored it for a bit to see if it would fix itself. Bad idea. When I pulled my phone out and turned it on everything was gone. I have seven different screens on my phone and they all had something on them. Not anymore. Everything was gone. All my text messages were gone. All my contacts were gone. Except for three. I can still call Jocelyn's mom's cell phone and Olive Garden.
Now I have to go to Verizon and see if they can help me get my contacts off of back up assistant. I forgot my password.
I am currently making MAC and cheese with two puppies staring at me. Chris and Sandy come home from Vegas today. It's been fun and all but I can't wait to be back at my house and my own schedule.

Do You Know The Person in Front of You?
I ended up getting pulled over this evening on the way home from the barn. It was my own fault. Speeding and rolling through a stop sign. The cop was really funny and had a good sense of humor. My mom was following behind me a ways back and saw me on the side of the road. The cop actually asked me if I knew the person in front of me and if I wanted him to check it out. I seriously had to laugh at this one. I surprisingly managed to get off with a warning. Otherwise it would have been like $250. Yikes! At least that ended well!
I am proud of myself for making it through the week. Tomorrow Ali comes home and she is going to stay with me. Until then I'm with the puppies for the evening.

Where Are The Curtains?
Sorry for the lack of blogging but I have been rather stressed out at the moment. I have been house sitting for the past few days and I have finally started to settle in at the house with the dogs and horses. It's just been a lot of responsibly all at once but I think I'm doing okay at the moment. The dogs seem happy and the horses as well. This morning the dogs actually greeted me at the bottomof the stairs instead of growling at me like they did on Monday morning. I am just glad they are being good. The horses are also pretty low key as well. I wish I could say the same for my horses right now. They are both insane and I don't have the time to do anything with them.
I am currently watching George Lopez. It is hysterical! I am glad that I have finally started to watch it and settle in to the house. It is huge and I rattle around inside it. And there are no curtains. Now that is really weird for me but I et up early enough that it doesn't matter. I also don't have internet here. Yay for blogging from my phone. Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day and I will take it as I will.

Speechless
Tonight I went to see Harry Potter and I was simply blown away. I was riveted to the screen the entire time I was there and was practically clinging to my seat in anticipation and terror at times. It was so well done and I just can't believe I have to wait until July for the last part of the Harry Potter series. That really makes me sad. I want it so badly but I don't want it to ever end. But all good things must come to end I guess.
Tomorrow is my last day at work and then in the late evening I will be going over to the house I am watching and my week of house sitting, horse sitting and dog sitting shall begin. I am nervous, but at the same time excited for something different and possibly a decent amount of money. I am just hoping everything goes smoothly and the week passes quickly and without a hitch. That's what I am hoping at least!!

Be A Surfer! Don't Let The Waves Get You!
On Fridays, none of us are motivated to do anything. Fridays are usually our day off. Going to business class after lunch was seriously like pulling teeth. The last thing I wanted to do was cower behind Chino and cringe when ever Joe stared at me with those intense eyes. We walked into class and found him already there, which is seriously a rarity. That's when he told us that the third hour of our class was going to be a party with the other PFT classmates next door. It wasn't going to be just any party. It was going to be a workout party. As PFTs we were mad excited over this fact. Screw the food! We get to beat each other up! Now, we have all been trained by the other instructor Carrie-Ann. We have never been taught by Joe. Boy, were we in for a surprise.
The serious, calm and slightly intimidating man that we usually see in class because a wild, exercise maniac when he was put in training mode. Our warm-up destroyed us. I seriously couldn't breathe at times. It was awesome! We ended up playing Simon says with exercises and did these things called surfers. We laid flat on our stomachs on the floor and then leaped up into a surfer position and did as many as we could in 40 seconds. It was so hard. I couldn't get up fast enough. It was all good fun though. We were so loud that the people upstairs came down and told us to shut up. It was epic. I have never seen Joe train before but now I know hoe majorly intense it is. And it's pretty kick ass.
Tonight I ended up going out with Kelly. I haven't seen her in who knows how long and the two of us decided we needed to change that. So we got together, grabbed some dinner and then headed out to West Hartford to have a blast. We hopped to a few different bars and caught up with everything in each others lives and talked about other friends, school, work, boys, dancing and knitting. I have seriously missed going out with her and my other friends. We are working on getting our friend Molly together with us and go dancing, rock climbing and having a baking day. It was fun to just kick back and relax with such a good friend.
We also discussed about our friend Jaci and how none of us have heard from her or have gotten a hold of her and how it is seriously bothering us. How can someone who has been such an amazing friend just give up on all of us? Ever since she came back from Paris she has been different and it is sad to see her just drift away. None of us feel like contacting her because we believe there is just no point in doing so. She won't respond to any of us. We don't think she has a job or anything like that. She just either sits at home or sits in someone's basement and games with our other friend Steph. It's just so sad, but there is nothing any of us can do about it. If she wants to push us away we are going to let her.
Oh well, tomorrow I think I might go shopping a bit and then go do stuff with my horses and hopefully will see Harry Potter in the evening. That would be fun. I also have to get cracking with my knitting seeing as I have way too much yarn and need to get rid of some of it.

What's Today? Monday?
I am just about done with everything. It's just been one of those days. School was long and business class just stresses me and everyone out completely. Just when I think I am doing okay, something new is added and I have no idea what is going on. Like half of the business plan rough draft is due tomorrow and I have no idea if any of the stuff I've done is right. Kathleen and I ended up chatting about it for a while on Facebook. She was freaking out and so was I. For better or worse I managed to do it. I would also my instructor questions but the man is just so darn intimidating. He has such a presence that makes me cower in my seat and feel like I am five years old. Kathleen said the same thing. There is just something about him that terrifies me. Kathleen believes he thinks she's an idiot, which I told her probably wasn't true. He has to understand by now that none of us know what's going on. Brian ended up working us out super hard yesterday because he was so frustrated with that class. All I know is that whenever Joe stares at me and doesn't blink I feel terrified and cower lower in my seat. When is this class over with?????
Now, I am mad stressed out and have so much business stuff to do that I feel like I am drowning in the work. I ended up having to go to the Equestrian Centre because my riding boot's heel ripped off and I kind of couldn't wear them. I ended up buying Ariat's but the style I got has a wide toe and they seriously look like clown shoes on me. Either that or I look like I have duck feet. At least they are comfortable. Then I have no idea what took my mom so long at the grocery store, but she didn't get home till late then reamed me and my dad for forgetting to feed the dog. I didn't get to the barn until after 7pm. I rode my horse for ten minutes and never got to my sister's horse. All I know is my mom drives me insane. She is so slow and drags everything out. I am freezing, hungry, thinking about my business plan that I still had to finish and was getting to the "we need to leave now or I am walking home." We didn't get home until after 9pm. I wolfed down dinner without my parents and vanished to my room. And here is where I sit.
I am just so frustrated with everything. I wish I had a job and had an apartment. I miss being away from home. I am just so burned out right now. And tomorrow is a make-up school day. I can't wait to spend all next week living at the house I'm watching along with three horses and two dogs. It will be a very nice change of pace.

No Wonder the Town is in Parentheses
It's the first of December and all it did was rain and the wind blew something fierce. It was like a hurricane. I thought I was going to blow away and do a Mary Poppins. I am seriously amazed I didn't. Also, how did December sneak up on us like this? The last time I looked it was September. I guess that's what happens when I find what I like to do. Oh well. Pretty soon, I'll be graduating and then its on to find a job in the real world. That is going to be scary but also rather exciting. I can't wait to start making a living for myself instead of depended on my parents all the time for everything.
Training with Brian and the girls went really well today. My arms are probably going to be sore tomorrow. I still know my legs and abs are. But it's a good burn. Kathleen also agrees. The two of us might stay after on Friday and work out together. We are also working on making it over to Gold's Gym together and seeing the place. I am tired of my expensive gym and she hates her gym. So why not try something new?
My two hour massage is actually next week, so that was a little disappointment today, but it's nothing I can't handle.
I have also come to a conclusion about something. I was watching Burn Notice which came on after Pysch, which was super awesome with the crazy small town that was so small it was in parentheses on a map, and I discovered something rather interesting. Now, I know exactly how my brain came up with it, and I am kind of annoyed it did, but it was an interesting thought. Mike got really into Burn Notice and, as far as I know, still is an avid watcher of the show. I now know why. The main character in the show is named Mike and is called Mikey all the time, and Mike always called himself that at school. The character is also smart and badass and such and I think Mike wants to be just like him. Just a thought. Now it's time for bed.

Grab the Small Balls
Seriously, that song that goes "I whip my hair back and forth" is the most annoying song I have ever heard. Who the hell cares about you if you whip your hair back and forth. I am praying your neck breaks and shuts your annoying whiny voice up. Okay. Rant is done. I just really hate that song on so many levels.
Apparently Chino totally showed up that know it all and show it off girl Aylin today. He said it was the greatest moment to be a difficult client during our roleplay. Apparently she and the other new guy Ian kind of took it hard instead of laughing about it. Jared, Jason and I had a grand old time. Jared used competition to motivate me and Jason. When Jason took on the trainer and tried to get us to use medicine balls, he told me to go grab the small balls and Jared and I (who both have extremely dirty minds) burst out laughing and couldn't stop.
I also think I have pulled something in either my shoulder or my pectoralis major. It hurts like a bitch occasionally. I am going to slap on a heat pack tomorrow morning and make it through school and training with Brian and then I have my two hour massage. That is going to be heaven for me and my messed up body. My shoulder or pec is pulled, then my back is sore and painful again and my legs feel like they have been run over by a truck, sent through a meat grinder, thrown off a cliff, rolled over again, kneaded a bit and then glued back together. Crazy description but that's the only way I can describe how messed up my legs feel. Stupid lunges.
I would go into the horses today but that thought just doesn't appeal to me. All you need to know is that Beau was crazy and then a pain to ride and the footing was crap which made it worse. Grady was good, but wild. Can't wait to ride him on Thursday! And that's all.
Now bedtime!!!

Strippers, Truckers and Trash
This is what happens in business class when the instructor steps out and we all freak out since none of us really have no idea what the hell is going on. We are working on business plans and need to create a business that we want to open. Jared aka Duke was pulling fun at how our classmate Jason wanted to work with strippers. And somehow we got Strippers, Truckers and Trash for a gym title. We were all dying and it became blog title worthy. I seriously have no idea what the hell is going on in that business class but I seem to be getting full points for everything that I have been turning in, so I guess it can't really be that bad.
Kathleen and I ended up working out with Brian and three other instructors after school today. It was a good time, because it gave more people for Brian to train and gave him two extra sets of eyes to watch what he was doing, how he was teaching so we could give him feedback. I think he did quite well for having two new people thrown in real quick, but he handled it well, though I think he needs so help when it comes to planning a circuit, but circuits are hard, so I give him a lot of credit. I am supposed to go again on Wednesday with Kathleen and keep doing this for at least 8 weeks if not more. I am kind of excited and I seem to work out better with people around me. Kathleen and I are going to see if we can eventually get together and work out together and maybe jog and such.
I am also going to go look at Gold's Gym tomorrow (hopefully). While I like the YMCA, it's too expensive and Gold's Gym just seems to have a lot to offer and is cheaper, and my classmates who go there love it and the atmosphere. I am going to check it out and see what rolls.

It's All Fun and Games Until the Shark Comes
So I got the most amazing app for my phone! I am a shark and I get to swim around and eat fish and people! AMAZING! Unfortunately my phone decided that this was not so hot and now continually turns itself on and off to the point where I have to pull the battery and make it sit to make it stop. I have no idea what the hell this is but it is seriously making me spaz out. I am going to have to test it tomorrow at school and see if it will play any games without freaking out and dying. I think it was overheating but who the hell knows with these smart phones. I will be very put out if it decides no to work at all. But I am going to be positive.
I am currently so bored that I am trying my hardest to find something to do. I hate being bored and it's even worse when there is nothing that makes you interested. I don't feel like reading or writing or knitting. Farmville is not working for my computer right now so that's out. I could organize my exercises that I got off of the Women's Health Magazine. That might be where I end up. I would play the Wii for a bit but my dad has claimed the living room television. Maybe I'll play with it when he falls asleep. But knowing my luck he won't. Oh well. I guess I could try out exercises and such. I figure the more knowledge I have the better off I'll be in the end.
I pretty much did all my homework. Though I could look over stuff, but I could do that in a little bit to make me sleepy or something. Until then I am just going to putz around.

Grandma is Driving Faster Than You!!
I have been bad at blogging this month. I am not sure why, but I have been slacking big time. So I am going to try and do better. We will see how long that lasts.
Thanksgiving with my family and Brian went really well. We managed to make all of the food and the stuffing and gravy tasted exactly like Babci's. It was hard, but somehow we managed to do it and I think in a lot of ways it was one of the most enjoyable Thanksgivings that we have had in a long time. We were surrounded by food and each other. Caring people who just want to have a good time. There was no bickering and my Dad carved the turkey. He's never carved it before. My uncle always has and he and my aunt are practically at each others throats about it so it was nice that it went smoothly and we laughed and had a good time. It would have been even better if Babci had been here, but, to tell you the truth, she was there. She was looking down and smiling because she was so proud of everything that we managed to do. And that's what makes me even happier.
Today I spent most of the day out at the barn. The vet came and looked at Grady again and he ended up getting his pastern and coffin bone injected with two different types of injections. We believe that that is going to really help him. He has a bandage on his leg now, but it comes off tomorrow and on Thursday he can go back into work. So for the next few days he rests and gets hand walked and then it's back to the grind. I am really hoping all this is going to really help him. He is probably going to have to get his hocks injected again in the spring, but we aren't worrying about that right now. He hasn't had them injected in almost 8 years so it's understandable.
Well, now that I am caught up on the biggest loser and such I am going to go relax for a little bit and then hit the sack.

It Looks Like Stuffing
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and it will definitely be different this year. Babci being gone is probably going to be the hardest. She has been there for as long as I can remember and just her warmth and everything will be missed. The real challenges are trying to recreate the foods that she has made throughout the years. Tomorrow it is going to be the stuffing and gravy that will be a challenge. She has always made both, so we are kind of trying to recreate how she made it. Fortunately, Dad knows pretty much how the stuffing was made and they worked on it this evening. According to him and Mom it looks and tastes like her stuffing. Or pretty darn close. And the no fail gravy recipe from Rachael Ray will be interesting as well. Good thing those are the only experimental dishes. It will also be different since we won't be with Aunt Carol and Uncle John. They have been completely ridiculous and we are all waiting for them to go to Florida and never come back. Yay for falling out with relatives. Sarcasm. But it won't just be the four of us this year. Our friend Brian from Eastern will be joining us. He has kind of become a member of our family randomly but it's okay because he fits in well with us.
My massage today went really well. I really enjoy just lying there and having someone work out all of my kinks. Bethany is awesome at what she does and it's really cool when she remembers things like my horses and my program at Branford Hall. She wanted to try heat on me today but things got crazy and we didn't do it. But next week I have a 2 hour massage with her to do the heat that will enable her to get deeper into the tissues and try to break up some of the adhesions that are in my back. I am hoping all this will make my back feel good long term. That would be amazing!
Also I ended up working with the show off girl in my class today. Boy, Chino was right about her being negative and such. But with all that she gave me her weakness and now I will use it against her. My classmate Jason did the same thing. He told me he wasn't great at abs and never liked doing them. So I made him do a lot of them. This girl was very negative about the stability ball. I made her use that thing until she was blue in the face. I put her in her place a little bit and proved that I do indeed know more seeing as I came up with like 20 different exercises with the stability ball in about 5 minutes. Oh I am good!

I Only Have Half a Bathing Suit!
Unfortunately the bathing suit I ordered came in the mail today. And in trying it on I rediscovered all of the reasons why I abhor bathing suits. Who ever thought tight fitting, skimpy things would be attractive. Okay, maybe on a person who is the size of a toothpick, but that's about it. I will gladly stay covered, thank you very much.
My sister's bathing suit bottom got back ordered. I was reading business stuff in my room when all I hear is, "I only have half a bathing suit!" It made reading business that much better. I guess I am just having one of those fat days. After Thanksgiving I am whipping my rear in gear because I need to keep up my image.
And speaking of image and school. This is the first time since I have started Branford Hall that I consistently have the aggressive, jealous competitive "I must prove I'm better" feeling. I usually do not feel the need to compete with others. I don't like to. It's too much work and too much stress. And now I find myself stressed out and cranky. And no, it's not just the holiday drivers. I get along with all of my classmates. We are awesome at helping each other out and giving feedback and showing each other new exercises and such. No one feels the need to show off. No one is negative. And I don't ever feel like I have to prove I am good at what I do. The guys think I am one of them and I get along really well with Joann and Kathleen because the three of us have so much in common with each other and all have goofy personalities and senses of humor. This new girl is different. And is driving me up a wall. Literally.
While she is really nice, it ends there. She already has a personal trainer. That's fine. I was thinking of getting one, but I am now starting to work out with one of my classmates who is training some faculty after school. He got me and Kathleen to join to work out and give him constructive feedback. Now since this girl has a personal trainer she thinks she knows everything. And she loves to show off. She grabs weights that are twice to three times the amount I would use. Not that I couldn't use them. Great, there is that competitiveness again. I know for a fact that I can perform better motions with a smaller weight and I am okay with that. Until now. She's showing off and driving up the competition. I sit there and fume silently because I suddenly feel inadequate and replaced. The funny thing is right now is the first time I am realizing how this girl makes me feel. Wow. I have no become my own therapist.
I suddenly feel inadequate because I was the tough girl who could keep up with the guys and prove to myself and them that I wasn't just a girly girl who couldn't do anything. I guess I have struggled with feeling inadequate for my entire life. People look at me and see that I am a girl. So already I can't do anything manly. And I am blond. Which means I am dumb and can be pushed around and talked down to. No. That is not the case. I am smart and strong and won't let anyone push me around. And I know this. It's taken a long time for me to know this. But I will still feel inadequate at times. I watch other people ride and feel like I am so far below them, and that's apparently not the case according to Gail. Or when I do a simple balance exercise like I did during break today and could do it on one side and not the other. At first I was frustrated, but then I told myself that balance exercises are hard for me and for everyone because everyone is uneven. My back injury also plays in with that as well. But this girl makes it all seem so much worse. She will grab the 15 or 20 pound dumbbells when I would have chosen 5 or 10. It makes me feel weak.
I also feel replaced, because suddenly she is getting attention from everyone and she is the loud one and the crazy one, when I used to be the bubbly out going one. It makes me feel like I am suddenly a wall flower or that her personality overrides and shadows mine. When I get thrown out of my element, I become quiet and shy, and I am slowly slipping back into that role.
And all in all it makes me upset. And that is where this competitive jealousy drive is coming from. I have to prove I am better. And there is no failing in this.
Now I ended up talking to Chino about her at lunch since he was working with her during our functional training. And it was very interesting to hear what he had to say. While he agrees that she is nice, he also believes that she thinks she's better than us because she has a trainer and that what she does is better than all our other exercises. When Chino was showing her a bicep/tricep exercise, she was performing it wrong and stating she didn't feel anything. When Chino corrected her and she performed it right she stated it didn't feel right and she didn't like it and did her own thing. Chino told me that he finds it very hard to work with her because she just has her own agenda and he hates the negativity because it makes him feel like he is inadequate. He told me that she has a great dislike of using small weights and he will let her struggle with the heavy weights just to try and prove a point with her. It's half working. He just thinks we need to knock her ego down a few notches. He also said that he attitude and personality enable her to draw the guys to her because she has that show off attitude. But it is also causing the other girls to hate her and draw away. Kathleen is a meek and quiet person and Joann isn't loud and wild either. And even though I can be loud, I am not obnoxious and I am constantly taking in new information and trying new things.
It's just all so frustrating because I suddenly am thrown out of my element and have no idea how to handle myself with any of it. I put on a smile and fake friendliness, but inside I am seething to my very core. It's just so hard for me to be nice when inside I am screaming to put her in her place. HARD.
Arg. I think I have vented enough for right now. I am sorry about it, but I kind of needed some outlet that wasn't beating this girl's face in. At least this is the last day of class for the week. That makes me feel better, as well as knowing I get to work out with Brian and Kathleen and a couple other women tomorrow as well as an hour long massage.

Seriously, Where Did My Pants Go?
I believe that no matter what occurs on a Monday it is still a Monday and Mondays are long and annoying. That's just what I believe. Every Monday I feel exhausted and unmotivated. Followed by, "Will this day ever end?" Yup. That's just every Monday. But that's okay. Monday is practically over and that means one more day closer to pie. I like pie. Now I want pie.
Mondays are also silly days. Because now I seriously want some pie. And I gave myself the hiccups while thinking about all the reasons why I hate Mondays. Yup. That's just how life goes I guess. Maybe my brain is funny from reading about business type stuff all evening. Business is really boring. I don't think I would have the means or motivation to open my own business but I want to be creative and in this class, why not? The only things that make business class bearable is that my classmates are goofy and the instructor is distractingly gorgeous. But enough on that. You don't need to hear all about my instructor's dark hair and rippling muscles.
Also my hair is amazing. I blow dried it for the second time in two days. And the last time I blow dried my hair was probably junior year of high school. If that. And I just want to say it looks amazing. And it dries straight. And I am rambling due to business reading. I also don't really have anything much to say the means anything at the moment.

I Choose Life!!!
Today was the schooling show at Lazy D Ranch. There was an incredibly good turnout and the show went really well, though all the horses were absolutely insane and didn't like one end of the arena. Beau was no exception to this. He was just as wild as ever but somehow we managed to make it through our jumping classes and did really well. Three first places and a third. For not riding him on a regular basis and such I feel like I did incredibly well. I also didn't fall off. It was probably due to the fact that I came in deep to the fences instead of taking huge distances. I choose life!!! Everyone else did really well. Tabitha was being really weird. Remi spooked once real good and she basically walked out of the ring and refused to go back in to jump or ride at all. It was just really weird. My friend Allison who is real close to her says the same thing. It worries all of us because we hate seeing her like this.
Well even thought it's early for me I think I shall be packing in for the night.

I Need Supervision. This Store is Dangerous!
I have officially decided that the next time I go to AC Moore craft store I need to go with someone. That store is far too dangerous for me to walk around in alone. I come for one thing and leave with like twelve. It's kind of a problem. Today I went to get one skein of silver yarn. I left with seven and none of them were the silver yarn I went for. I also got a book as well. Seriously, I have to start taking a buddy who will keep me from buying yarn I don't need. Okay, I did need the yarn I bought for Christmas presents, but three of the skeins I bought because they were Christmas themed and would make a really cool scarf. Yeah. I am crazy. Now I just have to madly make scarves and hats and try new projects.
I ended up getting on my horse again and he was actually really good today. He made it the twenty minutes at walk trot and didn't go lame. But then again that was today. Tomorrow might be a different story but I am hoping things will continue to improve for him. I am so tired of not being able to ride him.
Thanksgiving is less than a week away. I am super excited for yummy food, but it is also sad. This will be the first year without my grandma. It just won't be the same. Holidays are what makes me really miss her the most. She was such a big part of Thanksgiving and Christmas that it seems so foreign that she isn't here to celebrate with us anymore. I guess we will just have to make some new traditions.

Yes, I'll Admit That I'm Secretly A Potato.
Julian on the Penguins of Madagascar always cracks me up. This one was especially amusing. Some crazy penguin was trying to get information about a red squirrel from him and the penguin finally decided that Julian was nothing but a good for nothing potato. Julian responded with, "Yes, I'll admit I'm secretly a potato." I seriously cracked up for about ten minutes. It was just so random and amazing. And who said cartoons were only for kids.
I completed my gryffindor hat and now I have absolutely no idea what I should make next. My yarn reaches up towards the ceiling of my room and yet I have no motivation to start another project. Hm. I will have to give all of this some thought and see what I can come up with. I was going to make a slytherin hat and scarf but I discovered that my silver yarn is at the barn for braiding purposes. Oops. I guess I will have to go to AC Moore again. That's no big loss to me!!
Okay, so now I feel conflicted. It was something that happened this evening that made it so. I ended up getting a call from Matt Mercer because he was wondering what time I was going to be heading to Shelton to get together with everyone. I am exhausted and my back has been acting up since the beginning of the week, and I just didn't feel like driving all that way. So I told him as such and we got to talking and of course we got on the subject of Kyle. Now I haven't seen or talked to Kyle in a long time now and I am going back and forth whether to text him randomly and say hi. The thing I am worried about is coming off like I am desperate to get back with him. I don't want to seem like that. Sure, I would really love to get back with him. But that ship has sailed and we were not meant to be together. I still like him and I feel like if I talked to him a bunch then I am going to try and work things out that can't be worked out. Grumble. I think I won't text him. But maybe I should. No. I am going to wait this feeling of semi desperation for attention from a male figure. I hate being sexually frustrated...

I Could Just Fall Asleep Here
I had my very first massage today at school. You want to know what was even better? It was free. I love being a student. The massage therapy people were looking for people to get massages so their students could get hours that they so desperately need. And since my very first massage is free I decided to go for it. It was probably the best hour I have ever had. I just got to lie there and Bethany did all the work. It was phenomenal. Since it was my first massage they did a full body. I never knew feet being massaged could be so awesome. She also worked on my back a bit. She touched it and immediately knew what I was talking about. Apparently she found a hard spot that wasn't a knot and the best she could figure that it was scar tissue. And she thought it might have been my rhomboid and another muscle I can't remember. She worked on it for a bit and then let it be since she didn't want to really aggravate anything and the area had gotten really hot. The hour ended and I was sad. But it was okay. I have another massage for next week with Bethany again. Even though it's ten dollars, how can you beat that? For an hour massage? You can't. I can't wait for next week now!
I also got on my horse today for a little bit. The vet called me and is going to come look at him again the Friday after Thanksgiving. He still wanted me to get on and ride him around and get him moving. He struggled today but seemed happier that he was able to do something more productive. I just hope we can finally figure out what is going on with him so I can whip his fat butt back into shape. Yup. He's now the size of a bear along with the fuzz. I still love the stuffing out of him though!

You Can Do It!
Overall today was a pretty good day. I really enjoy good days because it makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. School went by pretty fast and I was able to show people that just because I am a girl, pretty and blond, doesn't mean I don't know what I am doing. I ended up partnered up with one of the new guys at the end of class and we were showing each other different exercises that we do. Well this kid is kind of into all that weight lifting and wrestling type stuff. He likes dumb bells and that's about it. You should have seen the look on his face when I pulled out the stability ball and explained and demonstrated how to do a double leg curl and a single leg curl. In less than thirty seconds I completely ripped him out of his comfort zone. Oops. Oh well! He was a good sport about it all even though I had to keep reminding him that I am a lot tougher than I look.
Apparently one of the other new girls thinks she knows everything and is doing things wrong. Chino was trying to be nice but he really wanted to show her that she really needed to learn more. He told me I get to be with her next and try and shape her up a bit. Oh boy. I guess this is what Chino means when he says that I am really good at what I do. Cool beans.
I even public spoke today in front of my peers about what services I am going to be selling in my business class. They liked my energy. I was quite proud of myself. I still get nervous in front of people though. I guess because they are my classmates and not students and the business teacher Joe is quite an intimidating (and handsome) individual.
My riding lesson on Beau even went well today. Gail put up jumps and I jumped a course and stuff to prepare for the show on Sunday. She told me I would be fine. When I told her that I was afraid of showing on Sunday because I didn't think it would go well and that I was afraid to disappoint myself and her, she looked at me and told me that I could never disappoint her. It was seriously one of the most amazing comments someone has ever told me. She told me I have come such a long way and I am doing a great job on a horse I don't usually ride. I just hope we can repeat this on Sunday and maybe win the big prize in the Lazy D Classic! Now that CJ is gone I should have a better shot at it. And in talking with Kit Kat, she hated her as well. And for many of the same reasons. I love my friends.

Do You Remember When...?
Do you remember when? This is what Jake and I talked about during the slow times at work today which was pretty much all day. Today was the last day of work for Jake and we decided to reminisce about all of the fun and funny times that we all had together. It was funny to think back on everything, but it was also sad. Yet again another chapter in life is closing. But a new one is opening as we speak. Tomorrow is the start of my third semester at Branford Hall and the meeting of new people. Who knows where life will take me with these new people but that is the adventure and one I am excited to take.
Note to self: Don't go into Walmart unless absolutely necessary, and if I have to, bring someone who will talk me about of buying more yarn. I swear its an addiction. My mom believes that one day we will open the door to my room and yarn is just going to tumble out at us. I have a feeling this might come to pass.

Equine Affaire
So I am really beat and this is uber short since I have been bad with updating and feel like I should.
Equine Affaire was today and as always it was very cool with lots of things to see and lots to buy. I talked with vendors about my horse and ran into tons of people from the barn so that was all good.
Thursday was amazing with going up to Eastern and seeing people. Got chinese food and hung out. Watched Harry Potter and got pancakes. I ended up running into Alex and ended up taking him home when I headed home. We blasted music and I sang at the top of my lungs.
And that has been about it.

Take the Prius!!!
My mom got her rental car today since her car is being repaired after she fell asleep at the wheel and ran into a reflector pole. She was going back and forth over the rental car. Corolla or Prius? Take the Prius! And that's what she did. I wouldn't mind driving around a 2011 Toyota Prius. It's a sick car. By the time she got home with it, she was wondering if she had to get her other car back at all. I'm excited because I can drive it. I am so going for a spin around the neighborhood with it. Why not?
By the way. AC Moores is a very dangerous store for me to be in. I always find something to buy. It's really bad. But I love it so much. Especially HOT pink yarn!

Boo Boo Horses Club
My horse, who was doing so well, has now rejoined the Boo Boo Horses Club along with half the barn it seems like. It is pretty bad. Grady, Hickory, Ice, Star, and Jessie. Dude has been in and out of the club for a while now as well and Beau has even been there as well. Oh well. At least I am not alone. There is a whole group of us dealing with it so it's okay.
My lesson on Beau was really good and I am happy that I decided to do a private lesson.
Well, seeing as I am as motivated as a rock I think I am going to quit while I am ahead.

People are Just Plain Crazy
So I have officially decided that people are just plain crazy. I like to believe that all people are great and good but that gets challenged everyday. Especially today. I needed to state this while it is still fresh in my mind rotfl here I am blogging during break in class. I really do hate people who have a complex. Especially a god complex. They think they are better than everyone else. I don't like to show off. That's just not me. I hate attention being thrust upon me or being put on the spot.
Now this girl in my class didn't seem to care end was totally immature and annoying. I have never really liked this girl because some of the comments I hear her whisper and grumble are angry and inappropriate. Today though topped all. We had a test today. We knew about it for like a week and this girl comes in after being absent one detail and throws a fit when she was expected to take it. When the teacher stated that it was fair to everyone else that she should get and extra day she flipped out and said the most selfish thing I have ever heard anyone say.
"i'm not like everyone else."
Seriously what gives you the right to think you are better than the rest of us who actually come to class and work hard and drive in the rain like NORMAL people. Get off your high horse because no one feels sorry for you or you tears.

Exercise + Pie and Brownie = Epic Fail
I am a terrible person. I worked out at school, decided to skip going to the gym since my knees were bothering me and then came home and gave in and ate a brownie and a piece of apple pie. That is failing hardcore. At least I rode my sister's horse for over an hour today. Crazy psychotic beast. My horse wasn't feeling great due to the weather so I am hoping tomorrow he will be better and work out of his lameness.
I am thinking of trying to get to zumba on Mondays and Wednesdays at the YMCA and work on taking a spinning class once a week or something and using some work out videos during the week if I can't make it to the gym. I have quite a few I can cycle through and I am thinking about getting a video series called PX90. I will have to see where everything takes me. I am determined to lose the last bit of weight that's on me and tone myself up and look sexy and stunning. Though, I do think my arms look pretty amazing. Same with my legs.

I Have Been Priced at $3.50
So using a price gun is probably one of the best things ever. Especially when you can run around and price each other as well as the goods. It should also be noted that I should be given a price gun to play with because I will probably price everything in sight, including my co workers. This is also what happens when work is really slow.
Tomorrow starts the final week of my second semester at Branford Hall. And then it's on to two new classes and I can't wait! Yes, only I would enjoy learning so much.
I am also all messed up since the time change. My phone apparently was messed up too because it pushed back two hours instead of one and made me late for work. It was seriously really strange. And I argued with my mom about it when she was telling me that it was 9:15 instead of 8:15. All in all being late for work by ten minutes wasn't that bad.

Stuff that Cupcake in My Face
Tonight my little sister turned 20 and we celebrated by going out to dinner at Smokin' with Chris right in town. They have amazing food and there was an Irish folk singer who sang all these awesome Irish songs and we got all rowdy with the drunk group of enthusiastic people next to us. It was a lot of fun. I really do love happy drunk people.
And just now Ali was pulling the futons out of the attic so she has a place to sleep in my room tonight and when she threw it out of the attic, it got caught on the way down and was hanging from the attic opening in the ceiling. What are the chances?? I never laughed so hard.

Come My Dead Puppy
Well, all my relatives are here and so far things are going good. I am not being driven too insane at the moment but I am sure there will be moments. All I know it was strange waking up this morning and having two dogs stare at me while my puppy wiggled his tail from his kennel as always. My relatives apparently arrived after 2am. I was already asleep after going out with Alex in West Hartford for a while. I love it when just the two of us go out. It's just such a chill thing. He was cute and messaged me when I got home to see if I made it. He is such a sweetie.
Today school went well and we did a lot of functional training in program design. We were put in groups of two and we each trained each other for 50 mins. Jason trained me first and killed me. So I got even and destroyed him. He was a good sport about it. We have a history of being tough on each other but it really does help us work out and try new things. My classmates all think I have lost weight and that I am really developing the hour glass frame. And in looking in the mirror I can see it too. And I like it!
I ended up going out to a late lunch/early dinner with my family and then we all went over my grandma's house to look at furniture and odds and ends. We are claiming quite a bit and I feel good knowing that some of my grandma's things will continue one. It was mos def hard going into that house and walking around and it's not just because it feels empty. It smells like her. And scent is the strongest memory enhancer there is. I really do miss her.
Tomorrow is my sister's 20th birthday. She is in store for lots of stuff.

Failing is So Easy
Why is failing so easy? Seriously? Everyone tells you success is hard, but worth it in the end. They don't always tell you that failing is so easy and so tantalizing. I hate failing. It makes me feel, well, like a failure. And I hate it. I just feel like my goal gets farther and father away and that I am slowly slipping down the mountain.
Today was the third not great lesson I have had in a row and it seems that every one of them gets worse and worse. I try so hard and yet I have nothing to show for it. My position is failing and my jumping is pretty much gone. I started with a vertical today and saw it revert back to a cross rail. It was so hard to continue and make it through when all I wanted to do was get off and stop. I am amazed that I managed to keep myself from crying until I was driving home. I hate having to show people my frustration in my failures.
By now I should be able to go out there and jump a course of 2'6 and 2'9 jumps with no problem and yet I can't. I can't even get over a single fence anymore at that height. I watch the people around me who ride and jump and do it with ease and yet I can't. After all these years of lessons I have nothing to show for it anymore.

Creepers Come Hither
It's official. I must have a sign on my forehead that says, "creepers come hither" because this is seriously starting to get old. Can I find a nice boy who is sweet and kind? No. Hot? No. Even remotely good looking? Nope. I can't win. Once again, I find myself with another creeper who thinks I'm cute and wants to get to know me. How did this happen? I have asked myself this question for a long long long long long long times infinity time. Now, let me lay out the story for you. I have never met this kid before. He is apparently friends with some of the guys my ex and I are friends with. He has randomly asked for my friend request before and I accepted him once then defriended him when he got creepy and then denied it a few times. Now I have no idea what I was thinking, but I accepted his friend request this time. I think I must have been on drugs.
He has sent me Facebook chat messages before but I have always been away and never managed to respond which is peachy with me. Tonight he caught me. Within the first two minutes he told me I was cute, that he was an honest guy and if I was single and that he was hoping I was. And then proceeded to give me his number. And guess what. I didn't give him mine. This is a first for me. And he didn't ask for it. So life is good in that respect. Still. This sucks.
I want to meet new people and see if I can find any nice, sweet, single guys that are looking for a nice, sweet girl. Apparently this is not meant to happen with me. Besides, when have I met a cute, sweet, single guy? Hmm, let's see. Mike and Kyle. Great... I am doing so well right here...

Looking for Edible Thighs
That's what my coworker Ryan thought I said and was like WHAT??? I laughed. Apparently I am losing my hearing and so is he. But life is good. Work was long but actually not super busy so it seemed to go by decently fast even thought I ended up spending the entire day with only one contact lens because something was wrong with my right one. Eh. It didn't matter. I managed decently even though using the cash register was a bit of a challenge.
Well, even though this is a short entry I need to go to bed. That's what happens when you sit up till 1am with your sister watching the latest episode of the Biggest Loser. Such an amazing show.
And I finished my first ever counted cross stitch tonight. I feel accomplished!

I Wanna Boom Bang Bang With Your Body
That song really made me laugh as I was coming home from the barn with my mom. It was very catchy but very raunchy! I feel like a terrible person since I haven't blogged in a few days. I don't know but I was slacking big time or something. I feel bad, but for some reason I don't find it a huge deal.
The last few days have been the same as usual. Going to school, picking apples, and riding the horses. Not much overall.
I got back into cross stitching again and I am almost done with the small one I have been doing. It looks pretty good. For being my first one I am very proud of it all. And now I am going to go back to doing that!

Demonic Apples = Almost Bloody Noses
Yup. I almost gave myself a bloody nose today while picking apples. I was trying to pull the apple off the tree and the apple basically told me hell no and wouldn't budge. So I pulled harder and it popped off the branch so suddenly that I lost grip on the apple and it beaned me right in the nose. It hurt and it shocked me and then I laughed my ass off. Yup. I thought it was funny as hell and seriously wished it had been caught on camera because that was America's Funniest Home Video worthy. I am just glad it wasn't a bloody nose, but then again it would have really made for a funny story if I went back to the store for napkins!
Jeanette and I are apparently going Trick or Treating on Halloween in my neighborhood and then going off to West Hartford and kidnapping Alex from his house. We have it all planned out. I'm rather excited for all this. And my sister (who is probably reading this) is being kidnapped for trick or treating. Come be silly with us. That's an order!

I Think We've Sprung a Leak
Our new dishwasher got put in today. That's super exciting since our other one kind of stopped washing the dishes. I guess that meant it was time to get a new one! Though, I just learned how to use the old one. Oh well! Unfortunately, the water filtration system under our sink decided to spring a leak. Oops. And let's just say this isn't a small leak. It was seriously like a flood of water. My dad ended up turning off the water to the filtration system so the leak is stopped for now. I don't think it would have made it through the night. We would have woken up to a flood in the kitchen. At least we didn't have to shut the water off to the entire house. Though that wouldn't be super bad overnight. We have three toilets in the house and we would be able to flush each one once so that would have been better than nothing. I am so used to the plumbing in our house going bananas that it doesn't even faze me anymore.
So I officially love my classmates. They are just some of the most incredible people that I have ever met. I was worried that I wouldn't make friends fast, but pretty much we all become friends day one. And as the days go by we all get closer and closer to each other. I love it. My classmate Brian said that after we finished the program and I did enough training with him I would be beating the guys off with a stick and my ex would be trying to get back with me. It was seriously the sweetest thing ever! That's the one awesome thing about having guy friends. They are not afraid to tell you the honest truth. And are really cute about it.
Last note before I wander off. Taylor Swift's new CD is amazing! It came out today and I instantly downloaded it. I am having a good time listening to it. Her lyrics really speak to me. And she just seems so down to earth. Happy sigh.

Fresh Baked Loaf Cake and Choconut
Even though work was really long today, we had a great time. Only my coworkers and I can come up with the stuff we do to entertain ourselves and make the day go by even faster. Today we had stickers that said "Fresh baked loaf cake," so since we didn't need them for anything, we ended up sticking them to each other. In the end we all had at least three or four stickers on our backs. And we would try and secretly leave them on each other. I found five of them on me. And there is one stuck to the back of my phone. Also when Ryan was writing down a list of the pies he needed to stick in the freezer, he was trying to write chocolate and ended up making it coconut. That was another thing we laughed about for the next twenty minutes. I so love my coworkers.
My knees and feet are such a mess though. I ended up getting gel insoles to try and make life a little easier for me. We will see how things go with that.
I can't wait for school tomorrow. Okay, so there are a few reasons for that. Number one is that I really like school and all my classmates and all of the stuff that I am learning. The second thing is I get to see the cute PFT guy that I have been talking to here and there. The crazy thing is the two of us both went to Southington High and both graduated in 2006 and never knew the other existed. Crazy, huh? He's very cute. Tall, brown hair, blue eyes. And his name is Mike. Seriously. Is everyone named Mike??? I guess so. I don't know where things are going to go with him, but who knows. I don't expect much but I never do.
I also think Matt Mercer is flirting with me. Why do I know this? Just the little things he says. While he is nice, he is just a friend. I don't see anything else in him. But like every girl (who is sexually frustrated) I like the attention. Does that make me a whore? Who knows. But I could honestly care less.
Okay. Time to study a bit for tomorrow before going to sleep.

My Northface Smells Like Pie. Sad face.
My poor Northface smells like pie. It is very tragic. While pie is delicious and smells amazing, it starts to get old after a while. Soon, smelling pie makes you want to cry. I think I am nearing that point. I smell pie and inside I die a little bit. I guess that's what happens when you oversleep and make a 45 minute trip in 32 minutes and arrive to work 2 minutes after you are supposed to. A new record has been set. This is out last uber busy weekend, so then things should settle down and I shouldn't have to pick apples anymore. I cannot wait for that to be over.
I am now stuffed full of Olive Garden food and am going to pass out.

Where is the Church?????
My sister was looking up the address of the church where the funeral for our friend's mom was being held. It is going to be in Bristol, CT. I come up and she is looking at a map trying to find where the church is in location to the funeral home. I look at the computer screen for a moment and then ask:
Why are you looking for directions to a church in the United Kingdoms?
Yup. My sister was looking at a church in Bristol, United Kingdoms. Easily the funniest thing I have ever witnessed.
And yes. This is very blog worthy. Sorry Ali!

Don't Eat Me
I must have said that over and over again to the horse Belle that I was riding in my lesson. She has a tendency to be kind of mean. But she was surprisingly good today for me and didn't do anything crazy. She did launch me over a bunch of fences though and that brought back bad memories and I ended up panicking to a point where I couldn't breathe. I faced it and did it, but it was terrifying in the process. I hate that horrible unrelenting fear, but I am going to keep working through it no matter what happens.
Grady is still not 100% so I think I am just going to give him another couple weeks off to see if we can get him back to where he needs to be. My instructor is also going to teach me how to long line with him so I can work him at a walk in a nice head set so I don't lose all of that when I can really ride him again.
Work is tomorrow and I am hoping it will be the last really busy weekend. I can make it through. It has been a long couple months but I really need the money and this is better than nothing. I also like my boss and my coworkers. I just can't wait to get a PFT job and do what I love to do all the time!

Grady is still not 100% so I think I am just going to give him another couple weeks off to see if we can get him back to where he needs to be. My instructor is also going to teach me how to long line with him so I can work him at a walk in a nice head set so I don't lose all of that when I can really ride him again.

I Think My Beta Fish is Constipated
My poor fish looked so bad today that I was finally like I can't look at him struggle to swim like this anymore. So I did some research and found out that it is fixable. Apparently it is called a swim bladder disorder or constipation. The swim bladder helps fish swim and float and such. My mom didn't think it could bit it, but the symptoms matched up.
1. Swimming fine one day and then swimming sideways.
2. Swimming sideways.
3. Lying on the bottom of the tank.
4. Struggling to swim to the top of the bowl and looking as if there is a loss of buoyancy.
5, Listless.
Yup. He's got all of those. The poor thing. So it's fixable, so right now Phoebus is fasting for two days and then I have to try and feed him something of a cooked pea. And it should help him out. I hope so. The poor thing looks pretty bad. But he's looked like that since August. Oh well. We will just have to see what goes.
Well, I made it through the week. Sort of. Tomorrow I have to go to my grandmother's house to clean out more stuff and meet these Dutiful Daughter people, then go to a riding lesson, then go to a wake. One of the girls at the barn's mother just passed away. It's really upsetting for her, but her mother has been sick for a while. It's still so sad.
Sigh.

Chocolate Cake and Pelvic Bones
We pretty much finished all of the bones that we need to go over for our huge bone lab next Thursday. Unfortunately the pelvis has to be one of the more complicated bones with all of the bony landmarks and then trying to figure out which way the bone is facing because if you get it backwards everything is all screwed up. Fortunately chocolate cake was provided for us by one of our classmates. Made it all that much better.
Though, then again I really shouldn't be eating chocolate cake...
Note to self: ladders should not be given to me for use.
I had to use a ladder for picking apples at work. I am basically stripping the trees out there. It is god awful and there were a few occasions where I almost fell off the ladder when it decided it didn't want to cooperate with me. Unfortunately, I will be doing the same thing on Thursday if it doesn't rain. Yay! (sarcasm).
And my horse's leg is still oddly swollen in places and that might cause me to have to rest him more if Friday doesn't go well. Double yay (sarcasm).
I need more sleep...

I Like (Most) of My Family
Everyone loves their family. Even though they drive them insane and pester them and are constantly in their business, it doesn't matter. Deep down we love it and know that they do everything they do out of love for us. That's what I love about my family. No matter what happens they are always there for you in the worst of situations. They comfort you, coddle you, support you, encourage you, and sometimes kick your ass in gear. We get frustrated with them and say we hate them or feel embarrassed, but that's just part of being a family. Poor communication skills. Every family has that one! My life is my family. And they will always come first in my life.
Then there are those family members that you despise no matter what and believe the best thing for them is to go to Alaska and never come back. Yes. We all have those relatives too. The relatives that have fallen out of touch and that animosity and anger follow their names. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about them. I have an aunt and an uncle like this. And today was one of those splendid days where I found out just how much I don't love them.
Here's the picture: My uncle is my dad's older brother. He married my aunt. He's a dentist and she works in his office. They have no kids. They are rich. They have two houses. They love golf and would rather spend time in Florida with their rich, snobby friends. They belong to a country club (and practically run it). And they care about nothing and no one bu themselves. My grandmother was the only thing that kept them around. Now that she's gone all of that has changed.
When my grandmother passed, she split her inheritance 50/50 with my dad and my uncle. Now, my parents want to go through the house and keep things and save things for my sister and me. My aunt and uncle just want to get rid of everything and then escape. My family has been working on cleaning out the house, but it's not easy. We are always busy. My dad works five days a week and is on call some weekends. My mom works perdeium. Her coworker's daughter just died and my mom has now gone working two days a week to five days a week. She is exhausted. My sister is away at school. I go to school four days a week, work Tuesday and Thursday and work the weekends. Friday is my one day off and I like to sleep a little. Like I said, we are busy. And now a days that is the typical American family. My aunt and uncle are not the typical American family.
My mom gets a phone call from my aunt today about the house and everything. I have never seen my mom get off the phone more livid than she did this afternoon. My aunt wants everything to be done ASAP. Like this Friday. She wants us to pull out everything we want so these people can go through the house and get it ready for showing. My aunt doesn't have a Realtor set up and such and thinks the house will sell fast. What world is she living in? It's getting close to the holidays and the economy and housing market suck. She then is pestering my mom about selling a chair that my mom and dad bought for my grandfather years and years ago. My mom nearly blew a gasket and plans on giving the chair to one of her friends. My aunt and uncle want to sell everything that has a thread of value to it. My mom would rather give it away. We are the people who could use money and yet we don't care if we give the furniture away or sell it.
My aunt and uncle want everything done with the house by the time my uncle retires on the 29th of this month. Seriously. Yes. They are delusional.
But here is the clincher to the whole thing. For as long as I can remember, we have always had Thanksgiving over at my aunt and uncle's house with my grandmother. Now that she is gone, my aunt and uncle are "passing" Thanksgiving this year. How un-American can you possibly be? Once everything with the house is over with they will most likely move to Florida with all the other old people and we'll never see them again. I'm not sorry or sad in the least. And I don't feel bad about it. They are no family of mine.
Well. That's my rant for the day. I am glad that my mom's side of the family is actual family. Otherwise life would mos def suck!

Almost Covered in Pumpkin Pie
Work was busy today in spits and spurts, but the start of the day almost ended in my coworker Jake getting covered in pumpkin pie. I was in the walk in freezer collected frozen pies to prepare for baking. There are no windows. My boss's wife Kristy was walking by the walk in freezer with a tray of pumpkin pies. Neither of us knew the other was there and I walked out of the freezer as she was walking by. Poor Jake almost got covered in pie, but somehow no pies or people were harmed so life went on. It was still crazy! I don't know what I would have done if I had gotten covered in pumpkin pie. I'm glad none of us have to find out!
Kyle and Dan John came to visit at work today. It's strange really since Kyle never came to see me at work when we were still together and now that we are separate he makes the effort. Interesting. I don't know what it means, but I am not dwelling on it. It will just make my life even more complicated than it already is. For once I want something simple. I want a sweet, hot guy to come along and like me and actually stick with me for any length of time. Is that so much to ask? Apparently so. Oh well.

Sexy Smokin' Hot Vixen
That's exactly what I was tonight. I took my classmates advice and made myself look and feel sexy and then went out to dinner with the whole group including Kyle. It was good to be with the group again. I have missed everyone and all the crazy conversations that we have, but I will admit it was hard to be near Kyle again. Things are still very fresh and it is hard to make those feelings vanish over night. We acted as if nothing happened between the two of us, but the dynamics between us were definitely different. He spent more time chatting with everyone that me and such and was pretty quiet during dinner. Maybe that's his way with coping. I don't know. But having Dan, Christian, Matt and Ikeem around me really helped because I was so busy chatting away with that that I didn't notice the awkward silence between me and Kyle as much. All in all it was a good night and I am glad that I was able to be around friends. The drive home was awful in the rain, but I made it and figured I might as well update on my outing. I won't lie and say it was easy tonight, because it sure as hell wasn't, but I feel as if I have made a big step forward for me. We will have to see where things go from there.
The vet that was coming out to look at another horse ended up canceling so Kim called our vet and he is coming out tomorrow around 2pm to see Grady. His leg is still swollen and I iced it and lazered it as well before Kim wrapped him up again. Tomorrow can't come soon enough. I really want to know how bad it is and what I can do with him.
I ended up chatting to Kelly Wall this evening and we both decided as sexy single ladies that we should go out together to bars and such and meet new people like potential guys. I told her I was down for it and that my friend Alex would be someone awesome to meet, so we will have to see what goes with that as well.

Sprinkler Roulette
Every single month has a day that is dubbed "the ides." The ides of March is the 15th when Caesar was assassinated. Apparently the ides of October happens to be the 13th. And here is why.
1. My mom's coworker's daughter died today in a freak incident.
2. My Aunt's dog Max got hit by a car.
3. My horse injured himself (supposedly a suspensory ligament injury that can take 3 to 5 months to heal).
Yeah. What a crappy day. Grady to me is the worst. He is my life. My sun and stars and the bright spot in my life. When I spend time with him and ride him I feel free and feel as if I can take on the entire world. When he is injured I feel as if everything has gone dark and I am suddenly alone. I know there are so many people around me who are helping me and helping him but it is still terribly hard. I put on a smile and a brave face and keep on going, but inside I feel dead. He was coming along so nicely and we were slowly making improvements in our riding and now this. He could be out till April or later. The entire winter. All my work gone. I just feel like I climbed up the mountain only to fall back down again. I've done this over and over again and each time I have come out on top, but if feels like each time is a little bit harder. Until then I am armed and dangerous with ice packs and a lazer. Oh yeah!
Tomorrow I am supposed to be going out to dinner with everyone at Buffalo Wild Wings. It should be interesting since I haven't seen Kyle since we broke up about a month ago, but in some way I am kind of looking forward to it. After talking to a few of my classmates I am going to go in and pretend nothing happened. Hug and ask with enthusiasm how he has been and such and pretend nothing happened. I have already planned my outfit tomorrow so I am going to look like a smoking hot vixen. Oh yeah!

Oh My God, He Has Brain Damage...
We were once again playing with bones today in A and P and the skull that Bobbie-Joe and I were working with fell off the table and that's what she said. I died laughing. It was just too funny for some reason. Between that and the scapula flying off the desk, we were having a blast. So many bones and bony landmarks. I don't know how I am going to remember them all much less spell everything correctly. That's going to be the challenge and a half. And karma sucks big time too. We had to make little workouts for each other today in class and I gave my partner Jason some truly brutal ab exercises because he doesn't do a lot of ab work and wants to get better at it. So I sort of killed him in the process. Well he got me back good. He gave me the toughest leg exercises that all involved balance and my balance is awful. I was dying and my classmates thought it was funny because usually I am the one who never dies no matter what we do. While everyone else struggles, I find it no big deal. Until today. They were very impressed that they could break me down with balance stuff. Oh joy!
Apple picking went smooth today and my horse wasn't lame. Those were big pluses in my book. The Jersey Shore is really heating up and there are more fights. Ahh fights.
I have also gotten back into knitting and have decided that I am going to work hard and see if I can work on taking pictures and putting some stuff up on to the etsy page that Jocelyn and I have. Both of us have been mad busy with everything but I really want to work on it and see if people will actually buy some of the stuff that we make. If not, then I have lots of matching scarves and hats to wear in the winter time!

Which Bone is This One?
Today was the start of the new five week semester at Branford Hall and I have anatomy and physiology neuromuskularskeletal and program design. I love them both. I get to play with bones with all my classmates and color in my A and P class and then I get to go and design workout programs. How can I get any better than that? It's all very exciting to me. There are two new PFT kids as well. A boy and a girl. Both seem nice so that's good, but we will see how it goes.
I ended up riding Beau today since I got on Grady and discovered he was dead lame. That made me uber sad. But now I am home and watching the Jersey Shore and will watch the Event when it comes on at 9pm. And knit. I love to knit!

Crying Over Donuts
Today was by far the busiest day we have had so far. There is only one word to describe it: Insanity. I have never been more frazzled before in my entire life. No matter how hard Kelly and I tried we couldn't keep up with the donuts. People would come up and order a couple dozen and would get cranky when they had to wait for them. Seriously. We can only go so fast. I would love to see some of them try and do that and keep up without losing their mind. I swear at one point my body went to basic bodily functions and making donuts. It was that bad. Tempers were high and I have no idea how neither more nor Kelly killed anyone.
It's just so very nice to be sitting home with my computer and my fish. And Shakespeare in Love. Such an amazing movie. It makes life seem that much better. My family is on their way home, but I don't know when they will get here. It's okay though because it's nice to have the house to myself.
Tomorrow is the start of the new semester at Branford Hall. A and P bones and program design. At least that's what I think I am supposed to be taking. I can wait to start new classes.
I have also made up my mind. I am going to Buffalo Wild Wings with everyone on Thursday. Seeing Vinny and Becca today really sealed it for me as well as talking to Jocelyn last night. I am going to go and I am going to face Kyle. I have not seen him since we ended things and haven't talked to him in a while either. Everyone else really wants me to come out and that is what I am going to do. I am going to dress nice and look sexy and since I will get to the mall early I might as well do some shopping. I haven't gone shopping in forever and it will be better because I will actually have some money one me. Thursday will mos def be interesting.

Jake's Enemy Orange Juice
I am currently back in Bristol after a long day at work. It wasn't as busy as we thought it was going to be, but it was still pretty busy nonetheless. Tomorrow is supposed to be out busiest day of the season. I am kind of not looking forward to that, but there's nothing I can do, but go in and make a killing. My co-workers told me about ice skating and how some little 9 year old boy dubbed Orange Juice kept pushing him down. I wish I could have seen it because Jake was apparently awful at ice skating and spent more time on the ground than standing.
Erica's boyfriend (who has the personality of a rock) isn't here tonight so that makes life so much better. So it's just us and the dogs. We are watching Ice Age and I am going to actually do some knitting as well. Tomorrow my family comes home and life goes back to normal.

Home Alone...This is Creepy!
So my parents and my sister, along with the dog have all gone off to New Jersey to see the relatives and drop off Ali's car and I am here at home since I have to work all weekend. It is really weird to be home all alone. Sure I have done it before, but I am never a big fan. My house just seems so big and creepy when I am all by myself. Noises that I thought were normal suddenly aren't anymore. That's what drives me nuts the most. I have been on my own plenty of times before at college, but there were always people around. Friends in the next building and people next door. There was always the noise of people here and there. Here not so much. I am going off to my friend Erica's house around 10pm to spend the night. It will be interesting. I am going to her boyfriend Kyle for the first time ever and his crazy psycho non-dog huskies are going to be there as well. Those dogs are not friendly towards people. And I swear they have brainwashed my friend. Should be fun times with all the boys. Oh well. I don't really care. I can always immerse myself in something.
Last night I ended going out for the evening with Alex Moura. It was just the two of us and we got a few drinks and had a good time. I like spending time alone with him. While I love Jeanette, she changes the mix of things when she's there. I am a little easier to talk to when she isn't over shadowing me all the time. Besides, sometimes I just want to go out with him alone. I got be be with him when the clock hit midnight and he turned 23. Crazy! He was like, wow I am old and I ended up singing happy birthday to him at the top of my lungs. Only good friends can!
Today I had a free lesson with Ali in exchange for watching Gail's kitties while she was in Florida. We jumped and had a great time. The only annoying thing was that Sam was there with Doran. That poor horse has been ridden into the ground and is burning out. You can see it when he goes around and she fights with him. Gail says the same thing. She feels bad for the horse. She told us that the only reason she was giving Sam a lesson was because Sam was paying her and she needed the money. I guess that's fair.
Well I am going to finish getting ready to do and then I am off to Bristol for the night. Then work in the morning.
